Historia
Sterling James is a rock star with the bad boy reputation you'd expect. That negative image needs to go if he wants to keep his career on the map. But hiring a gorgeous, feisty strategist is more distraction than help. Especially when they're sharing the confines of his tour bus. Reese is a successful social media strategist but fixing the PR mess of her teenage crush might be too much. After a rocky start, Reese needs to keep the boundaries between them clear. Even when her feelings are anything but professional.

Worse than any hallmark movie, more like a Walmart movie. Written so poorly, you would think it was an assignment for creative writing class. I love these light hearty books. Thai was not one of them. It was cringey through and through

Historia
Despite the odds against them from an embarrassing meet-awkward at a mutual friend's Halloween party, Carter and Evie immediately hit it off. Even the realization that they're both high-powered agents at competing firms in Hollywood isn't enough to squash the fire. But when their two agencies merge - causing the pair to vie for the same position - all bets are off. What could have been a beautiful blossoming romance turns into an all-out war of sabotage.

Painfully bad
Revisado: 12-10-24
Read one of the books and figured I’d try the author out. This book was painful. The narrator was the worst part. Sounds like an old grandma. Her voice ice either characters was so much better. It was boring and the explicit parts were just too much. No real romance. Unsure I’ll try another book.

You gotta love tennis
Revisado: 08-09-24
The book was great. Predictable. But still wonderful. You don’t have to know tennis to understand it. But if you do, you truly appreciate it. You feel it. You hate and love the main character. Wish her the best and want to yell at her at the same time. She’s human, an elite athlete. It’s takes a type of person to do that and the author didn’t cut corners in order to appease the reader. The book got better and better. I wanted more

Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Not what I expected. In a good way.
Revisado: 08-09-24
It wasn’t political. It wasn’t a blame game. It was the harsh reality of a class of people and the choices made within tough situations that lead to consequences. It made me think, a lot. It made me feel sympathy and empathy. It made me cheer and made me look outside my bubble. Enjoyed this book and hearing it directly from the authors mouth. 10/10
