I really appreciated how the author tackled breaking generational curses. I also loved the psychological evaluation breakdown between the shadow self and the character. The book was very deep with self reflection and addressing one’s own demons and not allowing victimization to be the reasons for any shortcomings.

After listening to the sample version, I was motivated to buy the actual audio copy of the book. After reading the entire book, I was automatically convinced it was the right book for me to read. I not only appreciated Viola Davis more than ever before, I felt I can relate to her better, and I love her true vulnerability.
