Historia
We've all had experiences with two dramatically different types of leaders. The first type drain intelligence, energy, and capability from the people around them and always need to be the smartest people in the room. These are the idea killers, the energy sappers, the diminishers of talent and commitment. On the other side of the spectrum are leaders who use their intelligence to amplify the smarts and capabilities of the people around them.

Breaking Generational curses
Revisado: 11-30-23
I really appreciated how the author tackled breaking generational curses. I also loved the psychological evaluation breakdown between the shadow self and the character. The book was very deep with self reflection and addressing one’s own demons and not allowing victimization to be the reasons for any shortcomings.

At once a deeply personal memoir and an examination of a violent and stratified country, The House at Sugar Beach tells of tragedy, forgiveness, and transcendence with unflinching honesty and a survivor's gentle humor. And at its heart, it is a story of Helene Cooper's long voyage home.

Historia
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

True venerability
Revisado: 09-18-23
After listening to the sample version, I was motivated to buy the actual audio copy of the book. After reading the entire book, I was automatically convinced it was the right book for me to read. I not only appreciated Viola Davis more than ever before, I felt I can relate to her better, and I love her true vulnerability.

Historia
In his early 20s, Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent, rose to the heights of fame and power in the cutthroat music business. A decade ago, the multi-platinum selling rap artist decided to pivot. His ability to adapt to change was demonstrated when he became the executive producer and star of Power, a high-octane, gripping crime drama centered around a drug kingpin's family. The series quickly became "appointment" television, leading to Jackson inking a four-year, $150 million contract with the Starz network - the most lucrative deal in premium cable history.

Revisado: 09-06-19
This book was personable, sad, tragic, funny, well written, daring, and heart felt. For me, this was an instant classic. Trevor Noah was sincere, honest, and hilariously comedic. Job well done Mr. Trevor. May all of your endeavors be fulfilled and may your cup success and long life runneth over.
