Historia
By the time playwright and actor Shawn Frost had won two Tony Awards by his late 20s, he was seen as a theater prodigy—a meteoric rise that the performing arts community had not witnessed in almost a hundred years. His work? Shakespearean in scope, character, and popularity—boundless and beautiful. His own character? Flawed. And in a place like New York City, where failings get magnified, Shawn Frost finds that, even from the heights of artistic sublimity, no one is insulated from the demons that have caused the best of entertainers to fall from grace.

Loved this book
Revisado: 11-09-22
I got to read a book about a narrator by my favorite narrator. Doesn't get better than that.
This book made me want to keep listening even after I made it home or to work. I will definitely listen to more by Landon Beach. I found this book by searching for books narrated by Scott Brick. He's the best male narrator in my view. I especially loved it when he had to read his own name in the book. Too funny!

Historia
“It happened fast. Thirty-two minutes for one world to die, another to be born". An epic and gripping tale of catastrophe and survival, The Passage is the story of Amy - abandoned by her mother at the age of six, pursued, and then imprisoned by the shadowy figures behind a government experiment of apocalyptic proportions. But Special Agent Brad Wolgast, the lawman sent to track her down, is disarmed by the curiously quiet girl and risks everything to save her. As the experiment goes nightmarishly wrong, Wolgast secures her escape - but he can’t stop society’s collapse.

Great Read
Revisado: 07-20-10
I thought this was a very good book and I'll save it to possibly read again in the future. It was a more realistic book about what could actually happen if there were vampires or vampire type beings. I'm not sure why everyone talks so down about the reader, Scott Brick. I actually love his voice and have read books just because he was reading them.

Historia
A woman’s slashed, incinerated corpse is found in a seedy New Orleans apartment. Her killer is certain there were no witnesses, unaware that his every move was seen by a beautiful stranger—from her bed in a bayou cottage on the outskirts of town. Weeks later, another violent vision shatters Olivia Benchet’s sleep. Convinced a serial killer is stalking the city, Olivia turns to the authorities. But jaded detective Rick Bentz doesn’t believe her—even when a second body turns up, slain in exactly the same bizarre, ritualistic manner Olivia described....

Chapters are out of order.
Revisado: 06-01-09
This book was very good. The only problem I had with it was when I got to part 2, the chapters were out of order. I listened for a while thinking I had missed something, but when I got to the end of the book and there were still 3 hours left, I realized the chapters were off. I'm now listening to the missing chapters, which are out of order also. I have to keep flipping around to find the right order. It's not easy.

I liked this book. Domination to the extreme. The book left me wanting more. This book is definetly for people that like kinky male dominating sex.

I really enjoyed this story. I was having a hard time getting into it at the beginning but managed to keep reading until Tamsin came into the picture. After Tamsin, I was hooked. I didn't mind the reader. I thought he did a fine job at speaking like a teenage girl.

Loved it
Revisado: 10-03-05
I have read the other Pendergast books previously and loved them. I liked the reader very much. I am a huge fan of Scott Brick and thought it a treat that he was reading this book. He did a great job keeping the story going and keeping with the same accents we had become accustom to in the other books. Great book.

This is now one of my favorite books. I loved the story and the reader was great. I didn't want it to end. If you are debating on getting this book, don't hesitate any longer. There was action from beginning to end.
