I can only give it one star for a few reasons. I'd have given it another star if it had included examples of each type of manipulation instead of just a boring general definition. It seemed as though the book was not edited before being made public. There were misspelled words, grammatical errors, and these made the book seem amateur. The grammar was bad and I can usually overlook that .. unless it's pretty bad.

This book is so not worth it; most of what is written is common sense about manipulation. The author does a poor job of explaining anything new or even interesting. Mostly full of fluff. There is some very basic, defensive advice that's helpful, but it could have been half this length and would have likely been equally as effective.
