The horror of combat nursing!!! Her descriptions are so powerful, you can almost imagine being there.

I liked how they could put the horror away and enjoy moments of joy and comaradery. Saddened at the feelings of lostness and rejection when the vets came home.

Housekeepers of British wealthy.
Revisado: 01-19-23
This group of stories of housekeepers to British wealth society was very long and rather redundant. I did stick with it but got rather bored.

Revisado: 04-18-22
This was the second time through this story. The other time was many years ago. It is a record of Corrie’s life before, during and after the Haulicost. It’s a very powerful story of devotion to Christ and of her love for family, others imprisoned, and finally even those who were her enemies.

I have read most of John Grisham's books or listened on Audible. I have enjoyed most of them, but this is my now favorite.
I truly couldn't stop listening. It pulls you in from the first word. John Grisham well deserves to be called a master story teller.
