Fun series to listen to with kids
Revisado: 06-08-22
Our 8 and 10 year old enjoyed the storyline and we moved on to season 2. I've enjoyed listening to it with them in the car. The kids have been engaged with every episode. There are a few topics that are for more mature kids, but when they've had questions we've talked it out. Jamie Lee Curtis and her team have done a fantastic job of keeping the listeners wanting more.

Captivating story

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. I would have completed it in one day if I had the opportunity. The author's story intertwined with her patients' stories kept me engaged and eager to hear the next chapter. Absolutely well-written and well-executed.

Entertaining for kids and adults
Revisado: 07-31-19
We listened to this book while on a road trip with our two young children. They loved the story and were eager to hear how it ended. Sometimes the accents for the characters got a bit annoying, but overall it was well executed and a fun listen. Based on the summary, I did think the characters would have more interactions with famous musicians, but other than Beethoven there were none to speak of.

I have followed Heather Armstrong on and off for over a decade. I enjoy her writing and her way of telling the story. Her willingness to bare her soul to help others is beyond commendable. hopefully the experimental treatment is something that will be available to a great many others in the future.

Ready to listen again. Sorry the book is over. Such a life David Goggins has lead. So much to take away from his experiences and approach to tackling the mind. Highly recommend.
