LSD is bad, illegal, and very dangerous while hiking or not. The author made it sound fun. He kept talking about how great LSD was, that it made his experience so much better. The risk of flashbacks for the rest of your life is very real. I now understand that the title The High Sierra probably wasn't referring to the elevation. I couldn't make it through the first chapter. Not for me.

The way the previous version of this book started out with the yelling and screaming was very disconcerting. In this newer version of the book the beginning no longer starts out that way. Rosamund Pike is great too. Thank you Audible! I am happily on my way in this series. I couldn't have done it without you.

Derek Perkins does a fantastic job narrating. Doesn't contain any swearing. Great world building. Good book for teens or actually anyone who listens to epic fantasy.

This is my favorite book of the series.

I really enjoyed this series. I have listened to the entire series several times. There is no swearing. The author takes the time to tie up all the loose ends. I love happy endings! I was sad to see it end.

Wow! Andy Serkis really made this Audible great!

I have another copy of The Hobbit, but was curious as to what Mr. Serkis could bring to the narration. He is a great actor, and his narration did not disappoint. His many voices along with his acting skills puts the listener right into the story. I loved this edition of The Hobbit. It is a great story. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Dawn of Wonder one of my top five favorite books.

I love this Audible book! I have listened to it at least ten times and will listen to it many more. I don't write very many reviews, but I feel I must offset the previous negative ones. His writing is brilliant. His characters are very well fleshed out. He allows me to slip away from the present and follow Aedan through his exciting adventures. I have well over 300 Audible books in my library so a rating in the top five is pretty special. I am 63 years young so you don't need to be 13 years old to enjoy this Audible book. Tim Gerard Reynolds is one of the best narrators out there and is perfect for this book. I cannot say enough good things about Dawn of Wonder or it's author. Thank you Jonathan Renshaw for all your efforts. I am one of your biggest fans. Buy this Audible book. You will not be sorry!

The Way I Heard It

Oh my. I love this Audible book. I really liked Mike Rowe's Dirty Job series. When they come on TV, I can't stop watching; even though I may have already seen it two or three times.
Something about his "moderately baritone" voice and his humble behavior along with his special sense of humor really kept both my husband and I captivated. When I saw he had a book out, I purchased it right away, and so should you if you're a fan. This book is every bit as good as his show, even better. You won't be disappointed. Each of his 38 some odd personalities he talked about kept me guessing as to who each person was. He revealed each one at the end of each chapter. I will listen to this one again, right away . The previous five star reviews were spot on. Don't let this one pass you by. He truly tells it the way he heard it. When's the next book coming out? I love the stories. I just wish I could have heard him sing opera. All bet he's phenomenal. I also love that his mom corrects his email. (Hope that's not a spoiler alert.) I really appreciate someone who takes pride in their use of the English language.
So, take my advice and add this one to your library. You won't be sorry.

The Vine Witch

Absolutely loved this Audible book! It has a very unique start to it. So much so that I had to listen to it again to really appreciate it. A very happy little tale. Okay there were some sad parts in it, but it wouldn't be a very good story without them, and who doesn't love a happy ending. Thumbs up from me!
