Her stories are well written, humorous, and feature plot lines that are unique and exciting! The romance is steamy but clean. I highly recommend for someone who enjoys old European romance!

These novellas always end too soon

I liked these books by Lacy, but they always end too soon. I enjoyed the fact Maddox and Haley previously knew each other, because in her other novellas, the couple's hook their lives together after only a couple months of knowing each other. I honestly don't think that isn't realistic. After a couple months, you should be still getting to know each other, not planning a marriage ceremony. Her novels are absolutely wonderful, but i feel like she tries to hard to pack a long romance into a couple hour long Novella. At least Maddox and Haley previously knew each other, so she isn't marrying a stranger! Honestly wouldn't recommend you spend/waste your money on this. Sorry Lacy!!

Good book!

I really liked this book. it's a light, easy read (or listen.) A good follow up for one of my favorite Lacy Williams book, "The homesteaders sweetheart." Alot of cute, romantic moments, but not ALL about romance.

Good book, but not her best

After the Redemption and firstborn series, I guess I just expected more of a story about Ashley's son. It would be a good stand alone book, but not if your all ready in love with the Baxter's (like me!) Also, I disliked adding a family only to have their daughter killed. Also, it was a little uncalled for. But if you want more of John and Elizabeth's grandkids, I ABSOLUTELY recommend "Someone like you."

Best Karen Kingsbury by far!

I fell in love with Karen Kingsbury's books because of the redemption series. So when I saw this book would tell Maddie's story, (Daughter of on of the redemption series characters) I jumped on it! It was everything I could have hoped for and more! If you are on the fence I would highly recommend this book. It is unbelievable!!

One of her best!

Such a beautiful story about an insecure young man with ambitions and a beautiful young woman with ambitions. Their mutual love of doctoring draws them together, as their romance flourishes. I absolutely love the White family! If you are on the fence, then definately buy this book and the rest in this series.

Swept away will literally sweep you away!

I really enjoyed this book! It's the first in a terrific series. Definitely encourage you to try it. Ruthy is a wonderful character, as well as Luke! It really called out to me how Ruthy felt unattractive, but the author does a wonderful job in expressing even if you aren't the most beautiful person in the world, one man will think you so. There was a little more gunplay than I like, but other than that, a wonderful book!!
