Historia
After decades of internecine warfare, the tribes of the Tiste Edur have at last united under the Warlock King of the Hiroth. There is peace - but it has been exacted at a terrible price: a pact made with a hidden power whose motives are at best suspect, at worst, deadly. To the south, the expansionist kingdom of Lether, eager to fulfill its long-prophesized renaissance as an Empire reborn, has enslved all its less-civilized neighbors with rapacious hunger. All, that is, save one - the Tiste Edur. And it must be only a matter of time before they too fall.

So far my favorite of the series!
Revisado: 01-22-25
I absolutely loved this story! From beginning to end—it is my favorite of the series so far. You dont have to have read the previous 4 books to enjoy this one, but I am sure it will all intertwine eventually and I cannot wait to learn what happens then!

A wonderful journey!
Revisado: 09-25-23
The only thing I don’t like about this series is that I have to wait for the next book. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this book. I was shocked in some places, thought I had some things figured out only to be wrong, rethink it, and then be wrong again.
I am so invested in every character and I have some theories about how the series will progress but Michael R Miller has proven that he can keep me on my toes and make every moment worth while! I can’t wait for the next book!

Fun and captivating story
Revisado: 04-26-22
I really enjoyed the book. I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews. I definitely like the traditional audio book but this was a lot of fun. I didn’t mind the sound effects. I also purposely didn’t listen to the prose sample in Arcanum Unbounded so I wouldn’t try to compare it. I love the Cosmere and am truly excited about Sand Mastery and the innovative nature of a planet that does not rotate.

The conclusion of the Mistborn trilogy fulfills all the promise of the first two books. Revelations abound, connections rooted in early chapters of the series click into place, and surprises, as satisfying as they are stunning, blossom like fireworks to dazzle and delight. It all leads up to a finale unmatched for originality and audacity that will leave listeners shaking their heads in wonder, as if awaking from an amazing dream.

It was just ok
Revisado: 08-20-21
I enjoyed listening to the book though I did find the narrator a bit robotic at first. She did great, however, with the characters. The story was good but not very believable and a little one dimensional (hardly any character development or growth). It almost felt like the author wanted to tell a story for adults to a young audience. Overall, enjoyable but I won’t be listening again.

Very dark, a bit squeamish, but overall a good story
Revisado: 04-02-21
I actually enjoyed this book. I read the reviews before and so I had pretty low expectations. There were parts that were excessively gory and I squirmed as I listened. However, I enjoyed the story overall. I actually liked the arc and the lessons learned. As a story telling the “real” versions of fairytales, I think it did a good job telling a story that didn’t follow the mold of traditional fairytales. I enjoyed it and am glad I listened.

What an amazing journey!
Revisado: 11-05-20
Wow! What an amazing journey! I listen to audiobooks on my daily commute and I listened to all three in the series consecutively. I was captivated and so into the story, I drove slower so I could listen to more.
Jeff Wheeler created a world that I felt I could taste and smell. His research paid off as I could feel the truth in the rites he described and the way in which the Medium works.
I am in love with all the characters and want to continue journeying with them as they continue serving the Medium. I won’t say anymore so as to not spoil it—but if you enjoy fantasy adventures with realism, detail, mystery, intrigue, good, evil, and epic love...these books are for you!!

Four decades of peace have done little to ease the mistrust between humans and dragons in the kingdom of Goredd. Folding themselves into human shape, dragons attend court as ambassadors, and lend their rational, mathematical minds to universities as scholars and teachers. As the treaty's anniversary draws near, however, tensions are high. Seraphina Dombegh has reason to fear both sides. An unusually gifted musician, she joins the court just as a member of the royal family is murdered.
