Historia
Fight is the backstage story of bloodsport politics in its rawest form—the clawing, backstabbing, and rabble-rousing that drove Donald Trump into the White House and Democrats into the wilderness. At every turn, the combatants went for the jugular, whether they were facing down rivals in the other party or their own.

Sympathetic Tome of a Bad Candidate is and a worse Campaign
Revisado: 04-07-25
Nothing new here except the glossing over of the shortcomings if HARRIS herself. Many nasty remarks about Trump, his supporters and Republicans in general. All while portraying Boden and Harris as casualties of unscrupulous Democratic operatives.
Not worth my time.

Historia
The left has corrupted the U.S. legal system. Wielding the law as a weapon, arrogant judges and lawless prosecutors are intimidating, silencing, and even imprisoning Americans who stand in the way of their radical agenda. Their "enemies list" even includes parents who dare to speak up for their children at school board meetings. In this shocking new book, Senator Ted Cruz takes listeners inside the justice system, showing how the wrong hands on the levers of power can strangle liberty, crush opposition, and wreck lives.

Historia
The year was 1917. As a war raged across the world, young American women flocked to work, painting watches, clocks, and military dials with a special luminous substance made from radium. It was a fun job, lucrative and glamorous - the girls themselves shone brightly in the dark, covered head to toe in the dust from the paint. They were the radium girls. As the years passed, the women began to suffer from mysterious and crippling illnesses.

Compelliing
Revisado: 05-22-22
The story is, by now, known. The book is compelling and well written and researched. The narration is poor, but the subject and the story are worth the time invested. Sing-song narration aside, I recommend this book and this Audible.

Historia
In 2009, Mark R. Levin galvanized conservatives with his unforgettable manifesto Liberty and Tyranny, by providing a philosophical, historical, and practical framework for halting the liberal assault on Constitution-based values. That book was about standing at the precipice of progressivism’s threat to our freedom, and now, over a decade later, we’re fully over that precipice and paying the price. In American Marxism, Levin explains how the core elements of Marxist ideology are now pervasive in American society and culture.

Love King, loved Misery, hated the narrator. She was both monotone and had an odd cadence that made getting through the enjoyable book torturous.

I have no idea what this book is about
Revisado: 07-14-20
The Tessa chapters are read way too fast and the Kitty chapters way too slow. It makes it hard to keep track of what's going on in the stories themselves because I'm so distracted. I feel like I have to either stop and change the narration speed every 5 minutes or go back to the beginning of a chapter repeatedly until I can piece together what is going on in the story. I'm halfway through my second listen and I still have no idea what this story is about.

Meh
Revisado: 06-24-20
It's a cute story, but I think my problem with it is we get a lot of background for the royals of the kingdoms, a very quick "And then they got married, moving along!" And the rest of the story with these two people who can't seem to stand one another. If the listener got to spend some more time with the couple while they still tolerated one another the story might have been a bit more interesting.

Wrong narrator for this book
Revisado: 06-02-20
I enjoy the series, but for the next books I'll just read the physical book. The narrator is completely wrong for the main character. Plus, she seems to have problems with certain words that others have pointed out, which made the listen very distracting.

Historia
On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Great story, boring narrator
Revisado: 06-02-20
It would have been hard enough keeping track of the endless list of characters in such short chapters (much like watching riot footage where the camera operator doesn't know who to focus on) if the narrator wasn't so dull. I felt like my mind would drift off and stop paying attention to the story because the narration drones at the same level the entire book. No matter what the scene is, the voice is one long, even, dry lecture. I should have just read the physical book.

Would not recommend
Revisado: 11-06-19
I have tried a few times to listen to this book and I cannot make myself get through it. The narrator is way too fast (and I usually listen to my books at 1.5x speed), her lisp was distracting and there is almost no distinction in chapters or characters. In the three times that I've tried to listen to this book, I get almost halfway through and I have no idea what is happening in the story. To me, it's just one big jumbled mess. I got this book through Kindle Unlimited, so I will try to read the Kindle version instead.
