Good tension
Revisado: 03-12-25
There was hood tension throughout the plotting, right up to the last bombshell. It was a nice break to see the support she had at home.

How many pets can one person have?
Revisado: 03-09-25
Good mystery. Mollie and one of her dogs find another dead body and she can’t help herself but to try to solve it. More side characters. Lots of other issues covered, some not commonly discussed. Trigger warning for eating disorders.

Gritty. Complicated plot. Loved how everyone worked together and the family pulled together. Wish we saw more of Mercy than the one teaser.

Good continuation of series
Revisado: 11-02-24
Good continuation of the series. Mystery and people working through their issues.
Being a native Michigander, I was amazed they could get a yacht out into the Lake in February. Icebreakers have to be used in the Lake in the winter months. I don’t know how many small marinas are kept open. That through me out of the story. Same for standing on Foster Beach in February without being all wrapped up would very cold.

Amazing life through many obstacles
Revisado: 09-03-24
Fascinating story of the first woman vet in the UK. Although fictionalizated, the facts are amazing. It tells of a woman with a goal who let nothing stand in her way, who went where she wasn’t wanted and made them want her services and respect her work. We women owe a debt to those like Aleen Cust who went before us and paved the way.

Very complicated plot
Revisado: 08-05-24
As the plot was quite complicated, it was a bit tricky to follow on audio. In a book, I could have flipped back to better grasp what was happening when. The plot moves no only between places but also back and forth in time. That said, it is an excellent tale.

Most humorous of all
Revisado: 06-09-24
I have listened to or read all of the St. Mary’s and Time Police books. I believe I laughed the most during this one. More zany episodes. Grunt trying to be a knight for his lady, Jane. Luke continuing to mature. I love the briefings! All tied together by an evil train jumping through time. Excellent narration as always!
