What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I just couldn't finish this book, and I really tried.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

What's not to like? Any story with Jamie and John is so good. Only problem was the narrators. I guess I'm so used to Davina's Jamie that Mr. Holmes just didn't sound right, in fact sounded wrong. Jeff Woodman was very good as usual.

What made the experience of listening to The Secret Diaries of Charlotte Bronte the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed it immensely! Even if you aren't into the Bronte's books, this is good on it's own.

Excellent book and good narrator. Can't go wrong with such a dramatic story.

If you could sum up 11-22-63 in three words, what would they be?

I always listen to books while commuting, but this one I listened to in the house (I never do that). Reminiscent of Shawshank Redemption. That good.

It was little hard to get into, but keep at it. It's gets better. Entertaining and a great ending.

Where does The Wine of Angels rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have a new series I love!! Great story! Great mystery! Great bits of British humor sprinkled about. If you like mystery, subtle supernatural stuff you'll like this series. I love Merrily's teenage daughter Jane.

This is a great book written by a marvelous author

James Alexander Thom is an amazing writer. I have read everything he has written. This book is one of his best. It is a story about a woman who is abducted from her homestead by Indians. The main character, Mary Ingles, experiences unbelievable physical and mental hardships but manages to survive because she kept her head and out thought her captors. The thing that makes this books so remarkable is that it is a true story. I won't say more and give away the plot. Just get this book, you won't regret it! Then look for Thom's "Long Knife" which is just as good or even better.
