Historia
My husband was not a monster. No matter what they say.... The day my husband, Michael, stepped in front of a lorry after being questioned by the police, my world fell apart. He was devoted to me and our six-year-old daughter. But they’d connected him to the disappearance of a young mother from our tiny village.

Overall, the book was well written. The book started off really strong. The story develop well and I could not wait to get to the next chapter. I enjoyed all the characters and the suspense of each chapter. This is my second book that I read from this author. I will be reading some more books from this author. I think the ending could have been better. I think the ending wasn’t logical and it did not make sense. I think the ending was rushed and too perfect. But, overall I really enjoyed this book.

Well written

This book was well written. It started off slow, but interesting to say the least. The author built up the suspense throughout the chapters. I listen to the entire book in two days. The suspense at the end was magnificent. I would love to read more writings from this author.

Historia
Until now, Kathryn Lyons's life has been peaceful if unextraordinary: a satisfying job teaching high school in the New England mill town of her childhood; a picture-perfect home by the ocean; a precocious, independent-minded fifteen-year-old daughter; and a happy marriage whose occasional dull passages she attributes to the unavoidable deadening of time.

Still waiting for action
Revisado: 03-13-23
This book was a great disappointment. I waited so long to read it, it had so many opportunities to bring the story to life, but it died in the first few chapters. The author used so many big words just to say nothing. Nothing at all. This story was about a man that had an affair, because he was a pilot didn’t change the fact that it happens every day in America. Dam it, I needed more from this book. I demand more from this great reader. Feed my desire to want more. Ok, let me stop, enough said.

Historia
Here is the spellbinding story of Abby Mason - photographer, fiancée, soon-to-be stepmother - and the consequences of her greatest error. Heartbreaking, uplifting, and beautifully told, it is a riveting tale of how life can change in an instant, of the search for the truth behind a child's disappearance, and of one woman's unwavering faith in the redemptive power of love.

Very detailed and eye opening novel
Revisado: 12-15-22
I was reading an article on how to write a great book and this book was recommended. I really enjoyed this novel. The narrator was wonderful and the writing was great. The writer paid attention to details. She described every so well. My only negative comment was the story went off course a few times. But, I loved the overall concept.

I loved this book, it was action packed. It was out of the ordinary, nothing I ever read before. It is a perfect but mad love story. It was unbelievable and believable at the same time. I encourage you to make this book into a movie and I will star in it ❤️
