Historia
For almost two years now, Kiera’s boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she’s ever wanted: loving, tender, and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together - Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university - everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart. Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source - a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he’s purely a friend she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes....

Naivety at it's worst.
Revisado: 09-13-13
Ugh what a waste! This book could have been about 6 hours shorter and a lot less immature. How does someone playing two men not know what a mess they're going to cause? And, though I understand this was about college aged students, how much more immature and indecisive can you get? Kierra is definitely "thoughtless"! Not my cup of tea . . .

Revisado: 04-03-12
After watching the movie, I thought I'd listen to this book! As usual, it's soooo much better than the movie! Miss Collins really did an amazing job on this book and I look forward to listening to the next book in the series!

High Noon
Revisado: 10-23-11
For me, when I purchase a book, I look for great ratings on the narator. Even a great book can be terrible if it's not read well. I did really enjoy the narator in this book, and a great story line pulled it all together to make this one of my favorites.

I really enjoyed this book! I can't tell exactly what it was that just made it click with me, but it did. I'll listen to this one again! I think the main female character was my favorite; her tenacity made her very lovable.

’Tis the season for mistletoe and holly, Santa . . . and suspense. And the gift that keeps on giving is Ice: premier thriller author Linda Howard’s breathless tale of a man, a woman, and a battle for survival against an unforgiving winter–and an unrelenting killer. Oh what fun it is to listen.

Whoa . . . . . heart wrenching
Revisado: 11-23-09
I had a love hate relationship with this book! Although it could be a little slow in places, it was wonderful and heart wrenching all in one! Even though you know the ending before you get to it, I just kept pulling for the main character. This is one I'll listen to over and over again.

Not bad . . . .

Not a bad listen. I have to say I'm not fond of the violence against a pregnant woman. Other than that, I enjoyed the plot, which moved along nicely. The characters were also very interesting. I would recomend this book.

Historia
Is there really such thing as a lucky charm? The hero of Nicholas Sparks's new novel believes he's found one in the form of a photograph of a smiling woman he's never met, but who he comes to believe holds the key to his destiny. The chain of events that leads to him possessing the photograph and finding the woman pictured in it is the stuff of love stories only a master such as Sparks can write.

Revisado: 09-22-09
I love Nicholas Sparks, but I find that on occasion he can be overly predictable. Some of his novels have little to no plot, and this was one of those. I still enjoyed the book, but it was kind of boring; one that I could put down.
