A perfect storm of a destructive meteor shower, cyber attack, and EMP blasts have left the USA and the rest of the world devastated. The grid is down, electronics are fried, modern transportation is dead, and thousands of huge rocks broke away from an asteroid and pummeled the Earth killing millions while destroying much of the infrastructure.
