Historia
“Accountability is the glue that ties commitment to the result." This quote, from author Bob Proctor, illustrates perfectly the key role accountability plays in personal and organizational success. But it begs the question: If accountability brings results then how do I ensure it in my own life? It feels like nobody is accountable today. Excuses abound, and our society seems to have fostered an atmosphere of complacency. This culture of complacency can seriously hurt your team or organization.

Did not enjoyed as much as other titles of the same author.

- lack of storytelling, other books of the same author had examples and some history that explained the practical perspective of the theory
- book was not engaging as other titles of the same author

Historia
Author Thomas Erikson explains that there are four key behavior types that define how we interact with and perceive the people around us. Understanding someone’s pattern of behavior is the key to successful communication. Erikson breaks down the four kinds of behavior types - Reds who are dominant and commanding, Yellows who are social and optimistic, Greens who are laid-back and friendly, and Blues who are analytical and precise - and explains how to identify and interact with each type of person.

Personality framework, sadly not for me
Revisado: 11-26-24
I would say this is a valid personality framework, but it’s not for me, I prefer the style of “true colors” were the definitions are simpler and easier to remember and easy to act upon.
I also didn’t like the voice narrative, again , it’s a matter of taste, but I found it too slow and a little boring.

Historia
When Bo Seo was 8 years old, he and his family migrated from Korea to Australia. At the time, he did not speak English, and, unsurprisingly, struggled at school. But, then, in fifth grade, something happened to change his life: he discovered competitive debate. Immediately, he was hooked. It turned out, perhaps counterintuitively, that debating was the perfect activity for someone shy and unsure of himself. It became a way for Bo not only to find his voice, but to excel socially and academically. And he’s not the only one.

Nice perspective of how to engage in conversations/debate
Revisado: 05-12-24
I think is a good book for people that needs to increase their social skills, the first 2/3 of the books gives a interesting perspective and framework of how to engage in a debate / negotiation.
I would say the last part of the book was not so interesting to me as it was more storytelling .
I would recommend it.
