An Unavoidable Future
Revisado: 10-16-20
It’s an outstanding book giving a preview in quite a scholarly but empathic way what is coming for all of us in future. Prof. Klaus Schwab is a modern day prophet trying to get the attention of the world and it’s leaders what future may look like so get ready and be prepared. His serious message needs a serious audience and I hope he finds them. I have already started his another book which he co-authored Thierry Malleret, titled “COVID-19: THE GREAT RESET.

Historia
From leading geopolitical expert and technology futurist Jamie Metzl comes a groundbreaking exploration of the many ways genetic engineering is shaking the core foundations of our lives-sex, war, love, and death. At the dawn of the genetics revolution, our DNA is becoming as readable, writable, and hackable as our information technology. But as humanity starts retooling our own genetic code, the choices we make today will be the difference between realizing breathtaking advances in human well-being and descending into a dangerous and potentially deadly genetic arms race.

Humanity & Its Discontent
Revisado: 12-27-19
This book provides a glimpse of possibilities of the future of humanity. As much as advances are made in science & technology, this books illustrates well the concern and fear that our trek record is not good. Rather than working together each of us try to outsmart the other to gain the maximum upper hand. The book opens more avenues of this but unable or can’t provide the solution. Overall Mr. Metzl did a good job on explaining how we can hack Darwin but then is short of figuring what we can do once the cat is out of the bag!

Historia
In Blueprint, behavioral geneticist Robert Plomin describes how the DNA revolution has made DNA personal by giving us the power to predict our psychological strengths and weaknesses from birth. A century of genetic research shows that DNA differences inherited from our parents are the consistent life-long sources of our psychological individuality - the blueprint that makes us who we are. This, says Plomin, is a game-changer. It calls for a radical rethinking of what makes us who were are.
