True to the Spirit and spirit of Willard

This contains quality synthesis into the whole of the work. This is difficult to do with material compiled from 40 years of teaching. I enjoyed what I believe were the stylistic additions by JMC.

Sprinkle does a great job of contrasting the upside down kingdom shown in the Book of Deuteronomy to the Babylons throughout history and today. We may live in the kindest, gentlest Babylon in history; but it is Babylon, nonetheless.

This is a great read for those disillusioned with nationalistic faith and seeking a clearer articulation of our mission in Babylon.
