The Lost Tribe
Good Boys
By Jeremy Robinson
I loved this book! It's about first encounters with aliens. But the aliens are looking for their lost tribe. They are here on earth. The main character, the ex-Army Ranger Micah and friend, with Micah's dog, spot the aliens. But the aliens are intelligent dogs! The people with the aliens are slaves and treated like "dogs." The aliens speak too. The men in black are suddenly after them all. It's a fun, funny, exciting tale, and I can't wait to start the next book!

Brighteyes (United States Of Monsters)
By Michael Suttkus and C.T. Phipps
This is book #2 in the series, and it's even better than the first book! I have read just about everything book of Phipps and they are all good but I think this is the best series yet! It's even better than the Weredeer series.
This has three siblings trying to make a living in a world where supernatural creatures exist. There are two sisters and one brother. They find out about their genetic background. The brother has been turned and carries a sword with a demon in it. One sister was a blood slave and she carries a sword that has an angel in it.
There are many subplots that keep it interesting. Fun and witty dialog. Great characters and action scenes. Scattered humor throughout the book. I don't want to share too much, but I really enjoyed this book! Read Brightblade, the first book, before this one.
Great narration!

Something about this feels off, and I can’t help but wonder if something more sinister is at play. The Hall of the Jotunn Queen: Skadi's Saga
By Phil Tucker
This had the feel of a female warrior viking that wants to be a war maiden while the men in power just want her to shut up and mind the men. She has to work twice as hard, and she still can't trust the men's words. Lots of action and thrills. It's a fantasy with giants, gods, trolls, etc. I am frail and old. I was frail when I was young, too, but while reading this, I wanted to be so strong to help her! Lol. I will try to follow this series.

The transition through the experimental teleporter on Al'Antis was successful. James and his team have found the original teleporter of the elders. But what awaits them on the other side is not what they expected. They find the answers they so ardently desire, but none of them makes their future any easier. On the contrary, they suddenly find themselves facing a final great danger to their home planet that seemed unreachable: Earth. But the place where James, Mila, Mette, Adrian, Meeks, and Justus find themselves turns everything they have believed upside down—including time itself.

I fell in love with the first book in the series, and this one, although not as humorous, is just as good. There are actions, conflicts, twists, a sentient talking robot dog (my favorite character), and sprinkles of humor throughout the book. I enjoyed the plot and characters.
The action happens on the moon. Never a dull moment!
