I have read just about all of Mel Dau books and was so excited to see Ready for War on audible. The overall performance of the book was great (I felt the emotions) and the story was on point as usual.

It's about time

For years I wondered why all of The Five Syndicates had an audiobook except for Bastiano, and finally....finally here it is. I LOVED the book, but the performance/narration was not great. To me it just seemed like they read the book and no real emotions/feelings. Also, there were several misreading of the book (Chapter 26 at 21:45 minutes it says, "tell me you want me" and the book says, "tell me what you want", chapter 27 at 7:33 minutes it says, "that's all the favor you want" and the book says, " that's the favor you want", just to name a few).

Kicking Myself

By far this is the best book I've read/listen to in a minute. I've had this book for almost a year and I'm just now getting to it...and I'm so mad at myself. As an HBCU Alumni I can relate to the story and the narration....Ms. iiKane deserves to win every award there is for narrators. She brought this already great story to life giving each character their own identity.

It's amazing the history you learn when you are younger and they history you learn when you get older you (especially when you come across a book like this). I'm so grateful for all of the historians who are able to put books like this together and share it with the world.

Love wins story

First book I read from this author and I really enjoyed it. I like how it show every day life interfering with a relationship, and how two people making it work.

This is the first book I read by Bella J and it will not be the last. Most of the time I can guess the ending within the first few chapters, however this book takes you on a roller coaster ride all the way to the end of the trilogy.

Great way to find love

This is my first book by this author and this will not be my last. I love the way the characters in the book fell in love. I know several real love stories that were brought together by a fur baby.
