I was completely enthralled from beginning to end. Tim Campbell has perfected the Scottish accent(an American point of view). The suspense was thrilling, the intimate scenes were vivid! ;)

This has been a wonderful series. I do intend on listening to it in its entirety again. Angela Dawe did a great job, at times I almost thought there was more than one person narrating.

Fantastic!!!
Revisado: 10-17-16
An entertaining history lesson! I've read a lot of negative reviews about the narrator, but I love her. Adding the present day character and her difficulties was pure genius. This book fulfilled both my childhood love of fairytale endings and the love and obsession I have with all things Jacobean. Well done!

Historia
History has all but forgotten.... In the spring of 1708, an invading Jacobite fleet of French and Scottish soldiers nearly succeeded in landing the exiled James Stewart in Scotland to reclaim his crown. Now, Carrie McClelland hopes to turn that story into her next best-selling novel. Settling herself in the shadow of Slains Castle, she creates a heroine named for one of her own ancestors and starts to write. But then she discovers her novel is more fact than fiction....

It's time travel but not, a plausible explanation. Real entertaining history. If only school history books were written like this, students would retain the subject matter. Wonderful characters both fictional and non fictional. Perfect combination. Well done! The narrator did an excellent job with the story telling. I want more!!!!

Loved this book and performance!
Revisado: 06-24-15
As I thought this book would have more horse content I thought I would be disappointed. The story and passion in which it was performed was anything but disappointing. Even with the the horse "Willow" only making a small portion of appearances. The power that equines have to heal not just one individual but an entire family was, by the end of the story, felt and understood. Anyone who listens will either seek out or relate to the power of a horse and the energy bestow.

Historia
In A Good Horse Is Never a Bad Color, Mark Rashid continues to share his talent for training horses through communication rather than force. Rashid uses humorous, feel-good stories to relate his techniques of teaching horses by examining their view of the world. This book is a must-have for compassionate horse trainers and owners. Tales of Arabs, appaloosas, and paints - mistrusted and mistreated because of their breed - will give listeners a new perspective on these breeds and others.
