What does everyone in the modern world need to know? Renowned psychologist Jordan B. Peterson's answer to this most difficult of questions uniquely combines the hard-won truths of ancient tradition with the stunning revelations of cutting-edge scientific research. Humorous, surprising, and informative, Dr. Peterson tells us why skateboarding boys and girls must be left alone, what terrible fate awaits those who criticize too easily, and why you should always pet a cat when you meet one on the street.

A Book to give understanding
Revisado: 10-18-21
I don’t normally do self help books or psychology books, in fact this was my first. I picked it because I’ve seen Dr. Peterson’s Video clips on the internet and agree or found meaning in what he said. This book is thought provoking and addicting. At some points I lost where he was going with things but I eventually understood. It’s a book I will keep and I am sure I would go back to certain chapters as needed. It really gives you some meaning and understanding of life. I sincerely enjoyed it.

Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

Revisado: 11-10-16
I read the original version of the Ender's Game. This book seems to be an extended version. Which is pretty amazing. I enjoy this book a lot. I do not normally enjoy Si-Fi books but this really has made me enjoy the genre. Suggest to everyone!

I like the book a lot, I honestly want to know more about them! I would strongly suggest having a background in Wheel of Time before doing this book. You can listen or read it without but I found it very fulfilling with the background I had.

Revisado: 06-15-15
Best book in the series so far! Switching the focus on Mat, Perrin, and the girls was great. Saw some awesome character development with them. Mat is probably the funniest of all the characters and found myself laughing at all his chapters. Great story and great character development. REALLY ENJOYED IT!

Why bother?
Revisado: 01-18-15
This book series started off pretty good, the Maze Runner was a good book, the second book is bad. This book, is horrible. The author clearly wanted to keep doing plot twist to keep us on our toes, but at some point it just doesn't make sense. She created an excuse to just keep pulling the rug from under people. Mapping out emotional strain on the "immunies" to create a cure? Not going into the fact that you cannot change the way someones mind work, or the map patterns of the brain. The fact that the author could just change the whole world because this organization has unlimited money, and political support, made this book an impossible world for me to actually engage in. The "Resistance" reasoning was completely flawed, and crazy to think people would actually follow it.

Another Romeo and Juliet story
Revisado: 01-15-15
This is a good book if you like a forbidden love story, along with fights and fantasy. i Did enjoy my purchase and enjoyed the world they live in. I was a bit confused about why the Mages and Mechanics deny the power of the other, it only helps your enemy if you underestimate them.
All in all. it was an enjoyable book. Happy with my purchase.

Revisado: 09-17-14
This is an amazing beginning to the Star Wars universe! It has a great narrator. If you can get over the back ground, or if it doesn't bother you, it is amazing book with a great narrator which makes this book unbearable to stop listening to it.

Historia
The Return of the King is the towering climax to J. R. R. Tolkien’s trilogy that tells the saga of the hobbits of Middle-earth and the great War of the Rings. In this concluding volume, Frodo and Sam make a terrible journey to the heart of the Land of the Shadow in a final reckoning with the power of Sauron. In addition to narrating the prose passages, Rob Inglis sings the trilogy’s songs and poems a capella, using melodies composed by Inglis and Claudia Howard, the Recorded Books studio director.

You thought the movies were long? Ending is longer
Revisado: 09-15-14
The series is a great series, but the end of this 3rd/4th book depending on whether or not you are including the hobbit, is the longest dragged out ending possible. With over 8 hours of wrapping up I could have done with Bilbo Baggins ending, "and they lived happily ever after" If you have done the other three (which I am assuming you have, why else would you be looking at the 3rd/4th book) go ahead and finish it. I really did enjoy the series as a whole and am glad that i finished it.

Vaelin Al Sorna, warrior of the Sixth Order, called Darkblade, called Hope Killer. The greatest warrior of his day, and witness to the greatest defeat of his nation: King Janus' vision of a Greater Unified Realm drowned in the blood of brave men fighting for a cause Vaelin alone knows was forged from a lie. Sick at heart, he comes home, determined to kill no more. Named Tower Lord of the Northern Reaches by King Janus's grateful heir, he can perhaps find peace in a colder, more remote land far from the intrigues of a troubled Realm.

I Have No Regrets About This Book.
Revisado: 07-23-14
Where does Tower Lord rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Very well, I have found myself enjoying the book to great length. It's only second to A Song of Ice and Fire series. (Game Of Thrones)
Which character – as performed by Steven Brand – was your favorite?
Vailen, just the tone of the reader matches so well I can't put it into words.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed a couple times. The cockyness of the soilders about Vailen's abilities have made me laugh.
Any additional comments?
I really suggest it if you enjoyed the first book! It really is a good book.

A Book Series worth the time!
Revisado: 07-15-14
I have quickly fallen in love with this book! The narrator does an amazing job with the characters and tones of the voices. This amazing book series will captivate you, and bring you in. Everything is explained, there are no questions about, how did this happen, or that doesn't make sense. It is a very well put together story.
