It’s time to listen to Bernie!

Bernie has delivered a historical report of the good, the bad, and the ugly! His vision of the future is a wake-up call to patriotic voters. The narration by Bernie is superb and a easy listen. Listen to this book before the next election!

A wonderful story of the Scott’s.

A Wonderful narration makes this book a terrific source of information of the pain and cruelty inflicted on the Scott’s. Getting their country and heritage back would be blessing long overdue.

I enjoyed the early chapters all the way up to when the English brought a lot of sadness and pain to the Irish. The Irish emigrants made a wonderful contribution to the many nations who welcomed them and the result was well told! Thank you,

Terrific information on the players of the time.

I have read a couple of different authors on the Civil War but this book fills in a lot of information on the soldiers and politicians who were directly involved, but also merchants and industrialists who made huge profits during and after the war. The information and narration was well presented.

Terrific presentation of a wonderful story.

Bono’s narration with that soft Dublin accent along with the appropriate music clips makes this a story that is difficult to put aside for a moment. U2 are away more than a band that delivers tremendous shows and charity events. This story is a must if you like song, story and entertainment! Thank you Bono.

Clearly written from an English point of view.

The subject content was expanded away beyond the title and the narration, while pleasant to listen to was completely unfamiliar with the correct pronunciation of names and places. Little mention was made of the cruelty of the Black and Tan campaign. Disappointing!

A beautiful story of an American Patriot!

I loved this account of an American hero who spent his life in service to his state and country. He did his duty in the war and against it when he experienced the mistake that crazy war was. His account of his time in the Senate and his interactions with his colleagues was enlightening. Best of all, was his service as Secretary of State in the Obama administration and the major accomplishments on climate change,trade deals and nuclear containment with Iran, sadly now in jeopardy with with a change of administration. I like when the author is the narrator because the emotion is there in joy, sorrow and love. A wonderful story, well told!
