A Masterpiece
Revisado: 09-28-22
Terry wrote a book far ahead of his time in 1997 that I cannot believe I just discovered this year.
It is one of those works with ideas that everyone needs to read and likely so many have not been ready for but ... just maybe, will be soon.
It is about how boys become men in a lot of silent pain - "hanging on in quiet desperation," as Roger Waters wrote - and often, for many of us, that desperation has become NOT QUIET.
This has the power to change all of us individually and collectively and I am so grateful to have been exposed to this powerful, all-too-familiar yet progressively glorious work of humanity. The power of its ripples are only just beginning to change the world and all of our capacities to feel, heal, and love.
Thank you for this book.
