Historia
The methods contained within this book are so simple, so instantaneous, and so effective, it’s as if they work by magic. If you implement even one tactic in this book, you’ll see the change in your prospects' demeanor. And you’ll know the $100M Offers method worked when you start hearing, “What do I need to do to move forward?” before you even ask for the sale.

Great overall review for marketing
Revisado: 04-14-25
Much was obviously insights into add champagnes we see and are affected by everyday. Many I could look back at different times of my life and feel the pressure to buy or influence to upgrade in package.
Coming from Auto sales background from 21-26yrs old I could see how much I both was using and lacking in my individual online marketing.
I do plan to go back to this as reference material and I always appreciate when the author is the narrator as often times it comes with real life examples as well as tid bits you don’t get in the physical copy as well. Good information 5/5

Historia
Think of The War of Art as tough love...for yourself. Since 2002, The War of Art has inspired people around the world to defeat "resistance"; to recognize and knock down dream-blocking barriers and to silence the naysayers within us. Resistance kicks everyone's butt, and the desire to defeat it is equally as universal. The War of Art identifies the enemy that every one of us must face, outlines a battle plan to conquer this internal foe, then pinpoints just how to achieve the greatest success.

Stay true to you and look within to find the path outside
Revisado: 04-07-25
Great book. I would say the hammering home the points of the muse got a bit long in the tooth but it is understood as it’s what the book is about.
I do think some of these ideas after that portion seems to attack individuals while ignoring the fact we are all human and fall trap to these things in various ways. Basically says true artists are shielded from things like ego, vanity, or greed. In the truest form I get this but again we are dealing with people here and there are no perfect people just ideals, and humble/honest moments or truths.
Overall a great book on how to take the power of your craft and propel it forward with honesty, humility, and to live with passion that comes from the core of who you are. I did like the bit about acting like your own CEO so you can hold accountability of self towards goals.

Same book as one narrated by Dean himself
Revisado: 04-09-24
I got this book to see if there was some extras compared to the one narrated by Dean himself and while a few details changed it’s basically read word for word the same as the original narrated by Dean. Personally I think Dean did a far better job. If you see the one with the big yellow lettering on the title get that one. I can’t seem to find it on here now though. Great book you will love the stories and self reflection in this book! Now I got two copies 🤣

After a decade-long addiction to crack cocaine and alcohol, Charlie Engle hit bottom with a near-fatal six-day binge that ended in a hail of bullets. As Engle got sober, he turned to running, which became his lifeline, his pastime, and his salvation. He began with marathons, and when marathons weren't far enough he began to take on ultramarathons, races that went for 35, 50, and sometimes hundreds of miles, traveling to some of the most unforgiving places on earth to race.

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Great adventure and self reflection of the beauty of life
Revisado: 08-31-21
Was a great listen. The audio being the author was 100% the right thing to do. You could feel the stories brought to life through lived experience and self reflection. A lot of takeaways and honesty. The kind of thoughts we all have in our own way put down in words and lived through someone else’s experience. The greatness and humility of the adventure that is life tied together with the fabric of humanity.
Took 3 days. Could have easily listened to it all in one sitting but then the excitement to pick up where I left off would not have been stretched over time. Enjoy.

Historia
In 2007 chef Grant Achatz seemingly had it made. He had been named one of the best new chefs in America by Food & Wine in 2002, received the James Beard Foundation Rising Star Chef of the Year Award in 2003, and in 2005 he and Nick Kokonas opened the conceptually radical restaurant Alinea, which was named Best Restaurant in America by Gourmet magazine. Then, Achatz was diagnosed with stage IV squamous cell carcinoma - tongue cancer.

Great story and great reality
Revisado: 05-02-21
The thing that made the book was that Grant narrated his side of things himself.
There are things that felt lopsided like his focus on his family in the beginning vs his focus on his own children and heather towards the end. Being a father myself it comes off a little cold but you get glimpses of his love for them throughout.
Can’t wait to visit his restaurant :)
