Historia
Set in the mountains of southern Appalachia, Demon Copperhead is the story of a boy born to a teenaged single mother in a single-wide trailer, with no assets beyond his dead father’s good looks and copper-colored hair, a caustic wit, and a fierce talent for survival. Relayed in his own unsparing voice, Demon braves the modern perils of foster care, child labor, derelict schools, athletic success, addiction, disastrous loves, and crushing losses.

Totally consumed me for 20+ hours

Great narration; too true a story. Wish they all had happier endings like this one.

Historia
Married couples in discord often disagree, yet manage to discuss their problems amicably. If they cannot resolve the marital conflict, then they may opt for divorce. Unfortunately, that is not the path Christian Wright chose after entering into wedded bliss with Chloe Abbott. Shortly into their unified journey, they realize they are unequally yoked. They seek counseling and are on the verge of ending it all when they learn Chloe is with child. Sadly, the birth of their son isn't the blessed event they hoped it would be. A flimsy façade of family perfection is perpetuated for years.

Interesting title

The story was good; the writing and reader were not. Sometimes it was hard to listen through the poor acoustics and cliches.
