Very repetitive

There’s a lot of good information in this book especially if you’re looking to adopt a dog soon. The down side is a lot of repetition of info from chapter to chapter, almost like the author literally just copy and pasted to make the book longer.

Great look into Shelby

Loved the book, getting to hear it from Shelby’s piont of view. Sadly I almost stopped because of the narrator.

I thought it’d be more about the race

This is a good listen, I thought it would be more about the race. About 25% of the book is about how’s cars came about, witch is interesting but I was hoping fore a little more about the track and details about the first race. Still a good book by all means.

Was hoping for more of a book about the out doors

I like Nick but this book got way to preachy. I’ve listened to all of his books before this and enjoyed them, and he had his options on the world in those too. His previous books mostly stayed on the topic at hand but this one is maybe 25% about his out doors adventures and the rest just gets overly preachy about how you should feel about the world and it seems if you don’t agree with everything he thinks you must be a bad person. I’m not conservative by any means but at some point I like a book to stay on topic.

Everyone needs to read this book

No joke I think everyone should read this book. So many people get so tribal with politics and I think this book could help open them up to hearing more ideas regardless of what side of the aisle you sit on.

Bad narration

This is a fun story but the narrator was terrible. He just didn’t have the voice or passion for this story to read it properly.

This is literally the only thing I could think of while listening to this book. The author is just some jaded woman hating Chad. I almost listened to a full hour and just had to stop.
