Narrator is annoying and not funny.
Revisado: 03-31-25
I started listening to "Chad" and by the 3rd episode, I couldn't take anymore. whoever is narrating sucks, his jokes suck, he tries to be too edgy and fails. his high, feminine voice doesn't help. Fallout is amazing, this fan-fiction is not.

Historia
Grunge’s golden era gave us some of the greatest rock voices of all-time–Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Eddie Vedder, and of course, Mark Lanegan. During a recording career that spanned several decades, Lanegan’s unmistakable and instantly-recognizable vocals were featured on classic recordings as a member of various groups (Screaming Trees, Queens of the Stone Age), plus collaborations (Isobel Campbell, Greg Dulli), guest spots (UNKLE, Soulsavers), and steady solo work.

BORING, STALE, DISSAPOINTING.
Revisado: 03-04-25
Well, I'll start off saying the Author has a terrible voice/accent for book narrating, I would've rather heard AI. Honestly this book was horribly boring and repetitive. It became predictable and not exciting at all. Plus all the info seemed forced and flakes. Like of coarse everyone is going tonsay nice things about him and how "amazing" he was. I know they left interesting things out to keep it too positive. Every different person had some puffed up, kiss-@ss statements. Very boring and they didn't cover the Screaming Trees and his substance abuse enough like they did with Shannon Hoon (now the Blind Melon book was awesome and kept you wanting to know more)

The Jedi have always traveled the stars, defending peace and justice across the galaxy. But the galaxy is changing, and the Jedi Order along with it. More and more, the Order finds itself focused on the future of the Republic, secluded on Coruscant, where the twelve members of the Jedi Council weigh crises on a galactic scale.

This isn't Star Wars, this is Disney.
Revisado: 01-09-25
I'll say it again, this is the usual diluted, watered down crap Disney squeezes out for the fringe simps who gobble it up. Marc Thompsons narrating is the worst in Star Wars, he's beyond obnoxious. Bring Johnathan Davis back, he's the true O.G. This doesn't feel like Star Wars at all because it isn't. The Extended Universe is entertaining and Disneu Star Wars is boring and obnoxious, I couldn't get through this book without pulling my hair out. I don't blame John Jackson Miller for this failure, this has Disney's greasy handprints all over it. Truth hurts, read "Legends" aka, acual Star Wars.

Great story, annoying narrator. Pearl Jam SUCKS.
Revisado: 12-18-24
I really enjoyed the story, it was very well written and I learned a lot of interesting facts. the narrator almost ruined it for me because his voice did not fit and he is a terrible speaker, Felt like he wasn't trying at all. I skipped all the Pearl Jam Parts because Pearl Jam sucks and is fake grunge. Eddie Vedder is the most uninteresting "Rockstar" in all of history.

Historia
One of the most tragic stories of the 1990s rock world was that of singer Shannon Hoon and his band, Blind Melon. Despite scoring one of the decade’s most enduring singles and videos, “No Rain”, and a quadruple-platinum hit with their 1992 self-titled debut album (in addition to touring alongside rock’s biggest names), Hoon could not overcome a dangerous drug addiction.

Honestly listening to this audiobook was very habit forming, like drugs lol. It was very well written and hearing about the Wild chemical-induced ride that was Shannon Hoons life, was very interesting and addictive. I highly recommend this story to anyone who likes biographies about Rockstars or Rock bands.

Awful
Revisado: 04-30-24
These "From a Certain Point of View" novels get worse and worse. I fully regret buying this kiddie garbage. Star Wars isn't just for 10-12 year olds. It used to entertain adults and be creative. Disney Star Wars isn't real Star Wars, Legends is true Star Wars. The narrators did a terrible job in the audiobook and the stories were uncreative and boring. This made me nauseated.

Revisado: 02-14-24
It started off okay, then got worse. all the female narrated stories were horrendous and boring. The humor was awful and ruined it. This felt more like "Disney" than Star Wars. 👎🏻 👎🏻

When the Imperial prison barge Purge—temporary home to five hundred of the galaxy’s most ruthless killers, Rebels, scoundrels, and thieves—breaks down in a distant part of space, its only hope appears to lie with a Star Destroyer found drifting and seemingly abandoned. But when a boarding party from the Purge is sent to scavenge for parts, only half of them come back—bringing with them a horrific disease so lethal that within hours, nearly all aboard the Purge die in ways too hideous to imagine.

Way better than anything Disney can ever do but honestly I hate Zombies, they're so boring and lame. If they made it some kind of creepy, ghastly mutation from an alien parasite that deformed people in creepy ways, then this book would be 5 stars for me. I loved Red Harvest though. Decent for a Disney Star Wars
Revisado: 07-14-23
Usually I rate Disney Star Wars 1 star because Disney Star Wars is garbage but this was okay. Jonathan Davis was awesome to hear, reminded of the good ol George Lucas days. Book was boring to me but better than all other Disney books.
