Historia
Amanda Hale and Tom Burke star in a brand new BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation of Charlotte Brontë's most beloved novel, adapted by Rachel Joyce. Orphan Jane learns at an early age that self-control is the surest means of retaining self-respect in adversity. It is a lesson that serves her well in the years ahead as she endures the misery of life with her cruel, uncaring aunt, followed by the harsh regime at Lowood Institution, a charity school for poor children.

Very lovely rendition

Obviously it’s truncated, but still a lovely little moment wrapped in the words of a love story and a heroine who follows her passion.

Historia
Despite constant efforts to declutter your home, do papers still accumulate like snowdrifts and clothes pile up like a tangled mess of noodles?Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you'll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever.

Such a good book

I loved how she approached the subject and broke it down. No matter what you come away with, she has something to say about all the things in your home. I loved it! And will do it!

Beautiful
Revisado: 04-11-21
At first I was surprised by Julia’s accent, but then when I listened to the story I realized how perfect it was and how charming it made the story. It engrossed me and lended flavor to the story. The story itself was engrossing and I have to admit the author is addicting. Overall it was such a good performance and such a good book!

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Don’t think too much and just enjoy the ride....
Revisado: 05-26-18
Don’t usually write reviews. Give it five stars and move on...this one I bought from just a random sale... Loved it...first part seemed a little long but it was interesting...and then when each piece gets added you can’t stop listening ....loved it. Will check out more from the author....but if you like the creepy weird
building genre with a group of people then you will like this book.

Historia
Octobia May is a girl filled with questions. Her heart condition makes her special - and, some folks would argue, gives this ten-year-old powers that make her a "wise soul." Thank goodness for Auntie, who convinces Octobia's parents to let her live in her boarding house that is filled with old folks. That's when trouble, and excitement, and wonder begin.

I adored this book.
Revisado: 11-06-16
I just love children who have old souls. It drew me in from the first chapter and kept me listening the rest of the day. Such a nice book and funny and sweet. It has enough in it to keep old and young listening. I just couldn't put it down.
