A must listen!
Revisado: 06-21-23
Down manages to pack a bit of fun, snark, and an assault on the listeners psyche into bite sized morsels. At times I questioned my own memory of the events of previous episodes. Subtle, yet masterful.

Historia
Father of cyberpunk William Gibson’s original script for Alien III, written in 1987 as a sequel to Aliens, never made it to our screens, although it went on to achieve cult status among fans as the third instalment that might have been after being leaked online. This terrifying, cinematic multicast dramatisation - directed by the multi-award-winning Dirk Maggs - is the chance to experience William Gibson’s untold story and its terrifying, claustrophobic and dark encounters between humans and aliens, as a completely immersive audio experience.

This is the Aliens 3 that should have been produced for theaters! That said, this is an incredible audio production. Well done Audible.

A Browncoat's Dream Realized
Revisado: 07-06-18
Within the unfathomable depth of the Black Ocean, J.S. Morin has created a universe akin to a masterpiece watch. From the outside, we see beautiful simplicity that functions only as a result of the impossibly precise internal mechanics that lie hidden just beneath the surface. Every piece functions towards the common goal of driving a story that leaves the reader/listener entranced. The characters will become a part of your world, their personalities crafted meticulously as though helped along by a bit of magic. The worlds, ships, and workings of magic and technology blend seamlessly into the story. No loose ends exist to untidy plot lines. In this collection, J.S. Morin grants us a remarkable gift, creating our very own "Mobiustania" in which to share the adventures of friends and family, to thwart the machinations of adversaries and obstacles. I challenge anyone who has yet to read this anthology to look a strange wizard in the eye, and lose themselves in a world they will never want to leave. Throughout the entirety of this collection, I asked myself repeatedly how it was that I became so completely enthralled in the stories. Upon hearing the message from the author at the end of the final tale, I had my answer. Mr. Morin, on behalf of Browncoat's everywhere, thank you for keeping the spirit of adventure alive. Thank you for creating a new world for us to explore. Most of all, thank you for doing it right. You've taken readers out into the black, and managed to give a world of fans their sky back.

Revisado: 12-09-17
The banter between the characters keeps me laughing while the world gains complexity. the amount of information provided explains how this world works, making immersion effortless. I hope this series continues on for many volumes. I can't wait to see what's next for Cal, Dani, and Dale!

Historia
The dream chooses the dreamer, not the other way around - and Lazlo Strange, war orphan and junior librarian, has always feared that his dream chose poorly. Since he was five years old, he's been obsessed with the mythic lost city of Weep, but it would take someone bolder than he to cross half the world in search of it. Then a stunning opportunity presents itself in the person of a hero called the Godslayer and a band of legendary warriors, and he has to seize his chance or lose his dream forever.

Strange the Dreamer weaves a tale every bit as magical as the world contained between its pages. Complex characters, fantastic landscapes, and subtle intrigue bind together a story that is beautiful, and full of monsters.

Dawn of Wonder is an instant classic.
Revisado: 06-02-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Dawn of Wonder shall be hailed as a must have to friends and family alike. Deep and endearing characters inhabit a beautifully realized world through rich story telling and subtle progression that leaves readers begging for more.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Aeden, the main character, struck me as one of the most real fictional characters I have become acquainted with. His background, motives, struggles, and triumphs held me spellbound as I developed a bond with the scrappy young lad from the Mistyvales. In strikingly accurate description of personal history and personality, Renshaw has created a character that I was able to relate to on a personal level. Having read many fantasy and science fiction novels, I have always found myself reading objectively, for the most part. In Dawn of Wonder, Aeden made objectivity impossible.
Which scene was your favorite?
Picking a favorite scene from Dawn of Wonder is about like asking someone to pick their favorite breath of air. That being said, one of the most powerful scenes depicts a young man seeking something greater than himself for the strength to overcome what seems to be an insurmountable obstacle. If that seems vague, pick up the book and get started!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The concept of surrendering to overcome ones greatest weakness and the empowerment that comes with letting go spoke to me very deeply.
Any additional comments?
I chanced upon this book thanks to a stray Audible.com credit I had forgotten to spend. I will be forever in debt to my forgetfulness for introducing me to an author I look forward to holding in as high a regard as I do Tolkien.
