Excellent information
Revisado: 07-21-23
The book was informative and vital for a person like myself: fasting for weight loss, longevity and for protection from cancer and dementia. I appreciated the information on sleep habits and what to eat for good health.

Historia
Most of us have heard of gluten - a protein found in wheat that causes widespread inflammation in the body. Americans spend billions of dollars on gluten-free diets in an effort to protect their health. But what if we’ve been missing the root of the problem? In The Plant Paradox, renowned cardiologist Dr. Steven Gundry reveals that gluten is just one variety of a common, and highly toxic, plant-based protein called lectin.

Historia
What did your boss mean in that email? Is your mechanic stretching the truth? Whether you’re engaged in a casual conversation or a high-stakes negotiation, it’s critical to understand the subtext of a situation. But with so much interaction happening on screens—via email, texts, or video chat—we are losing the ability to interpret expressions and cues. Furthermore, since many are now savvy about the meaning of body language, it’s become even harder to discern someone’s true thoughts or intentions.

Explains people I don't understand
Revisado: 02-07-23
This book explains the reasons that smart, educated people put their intelligence on hold and instead submit to follow individuals whose fundamental beliefs are opposite of their own. Now I understand.

Historia
Today when you factor in the interest on the national debt from past wars and total defense expenditures the United States spends almost 40% of its federal budget on the military. It accounts for over 46% of total world arms spending. Before World War II it spent almost nothing on defense and hardly anyone paid any income taxes. You can't have big wars without big government. Such big expenditures are now threatening to harm the national economy.

American Citizens desperately need to know our real history!
Revisado: 11-06-21
As the author points out, Truman & Eisenhower figured out too late that the “military industrial complex” with their creation, the CIA, were taking over the USA, it’s people and it’s economy. Kennedy was on to them and ready to take our country back when he was killed. This book should be required reading for all Americans before we all go bankrupt! War corporations are using our tax money paid to them for war materials to control our congress to keep the war state going. Wake up America!
