Historia
Billy Todd has always been different. Most people called him odd, and those were the nice people. Though he was born with a learning disability, Billy's parents never allowed him to consider himself disabled. Raised to be self-sufficient, Billy might not be as smart as some, but he was a lot smarter than people realized.

****** Totally Love Odd Billy Todd ******
Revisado: 10-12-21
I read a lot of negative reviews regarding Odd Billy Todd. Some reviewers commented on the unrealistic nature of the story, but isn’t that one of the characteristic of fiction? Why read fiction if you want reality!!! I found this fictional work of a Post-Apocalyptic time entertaining, enjoyable, and sometime down right hilarious. Personally, I love fiction for it fabrication and inventive nature. Reality is what I live everyday, so when I curl up with a book for a read or a listen, what I want is fantasy. Thank you, N. C. Reed for providing me what I crave.

**********BETTER THAN THE FIRST**********
Revisado: 04-11-16
"Hidden Bodies"
Everything I stated in the first book review "You" is still relevant in the second book. Except I believe it got better, if that is possible!!! I don't want to talk about the story details, for fear of giving anything away. But if you like deeply developed characters, and unusual plots, invested in "You" first, then "Hidden Bodies." Not everyone will enjoy the stories, but hopefully you will!
"You"
Joe is such a uniquely special character. Most books are written from the victim's or the police's or spectator's point of views. Joe"s character is a written from the psychotic perspective. Not a psycho myself, but have always wonder what was going on in someone head that would leads them to unspeakable acts, Joe's character answered the question. Yes, I know Joe is fictional, but still it does validated my conclusion that people who harm other individual feel justified in their warped way of reasoning. Carol Kepnes' work on Joe is nothing short of poetry, fluid and meaningful. My only advice is, you have to be present in the story, not multi tasking, to truly enjoy the epic adventures of Joe!!
The narration is a match made in heaven!! Excellent work "Santino Fontana", two thumbs up!!

Revisado: 03-14-16
An amazing story, with well developed characters. This story is not a thrill a minute, but a rich fascinating plot that will hold your interest until the unforgettable conclusion. It was worth the credit. And I will probably listen to it again and again. The narration was a perfect fit for the story.

******Kept me guessing!******
Revisado: 11-18-15
Love thrillers that keep me guessing. Although, I touched on the killer once, I later disregarded my conclusion and changed my mind. There are so many twists and turns in the story, guessing who the victims and who the psychopathic killer is , is nearly impossible. This story provided a suspenseful , and total entertaining listen. The narration only added to the story. Love it when book style and narration comes together so harmoniously.

"NEW INTERESTING CONCEPT"
Revisado: 04-28-15
Love the concept of this series. The story was well developed, with strong characters. The premise of everyone communicating through thoughts drew me to this YA series. I was not disappointed with the development of the story.
However, the narration left a lot to be desired. I expected a young reader, but one that actually enjoyed the story would have been better. Kelli Shane readed the story as if she was bored to death. There was no enthusiasm or inflection in her voice at all.
I finished the series and enjoyed the story, but I will not start another series with Kelli Shane as the narrator.

Historia
Agnes Barton is not your typical senior citizen living in Tadium, MI, on the shores of Lake Huron. She drives a red hot Mustang, shops at Victoria's Secret, rankles local police officials, and has a knack for sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. What does a murder that happened forty-three years ago have to do with missing tourist Jennifer Martin? Agnes makes it her personal mission to find out, and she's not letting the fact she's seventy-two get in the way.

"UNBELIEVEABLE"
Revisado: 04-28-15
I thought this book would be a fun light listen. Like the MudBug series or a Molly Harper book. But it was diffucult to finish. The attempts at humor were lacking humor, at best. The plot was weak. And the conculsion felt rushed. I kept thinking, did I skip a part?
And the narrator should not attempt to perform voice changes. It sounded like a grandmother trying to do voices for a child's bedtime story. Really, one expects a professional reader to have more range ability. This is not a series that I will continue.

"ENJOYED THE RIDE, TO BAD IT ENDED"
Revisado: 12-04-14
The story entertained us with a different take on zombies. Reading this book is equal to riding a train traveling down a steep hill, through a series of twists and turns. The ride is exhilarating, satisfying, an emotionally simulating until the end. Wherein you exit the ride and the destination is a disappointing conclusion to a awesome ride.
However, I'm glad I brought a ticket.
