Historia
Three-quarters of Americans believe that a group of unelected government and military officials secretly manipulate or direct national policy in the United States. This sweeping exploration examines the CIA and FBI scandals of the past 50 years - from the Church Committee's exposure of Cold War abuses, to Abscam, to false intelligence about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, to NSA mass surveillance revealed by Edward Snowden. It then investigates the claims and counterclaims of the Trump era, and the relentless spread of conspiracy theories online and on-air.

Extreme bias in favor of far left conspiracies.
Revisado: 08-15-24
ass the book progresses, the author is increasingly bias when writing about democrats, dismissive of democrat wrong doing, and vague and far more critical of Republicans. By the end of the book, related to the Trump era, it's of the charts. Trump lies and and lies, but offers no examples or evidence of any lies. refers to fact checkers, but does not indicate who the fact checkers are or what trump lied about. More fallacies on Trump Russia collusion. Horrible book. I thought as the book began it would be balanced and informative. By the end it was nothing more than a leftist rant with no facts or already proven to be false conspiracies on Trump. don't waste your time. Authors blind to true facts.

Historia
In 2016-17, while working for the USA Today Network’s Wisconsin Investigative Team, author John Ferak wrote dozens of articles examining the murder case again Steven Avery, who had already beat one wrongful conviction only to be charged with the murder of Teresa Halbach in 2005. In Wrecking Crew, Ferak lays out in exacting detail the post-conviction strategy of Kathleen Zellner, the high-profile, high-octane lawyer, to free Avery.

Great audiobook!

So much more information than what was shown in the Netflix series. One of the most gripping books I have read.
