This book is bassically just a dude repeatedly sexually assaulting a woman and ends with something that sounded like a Qanon fanfic.
Dont get me wrong, I like extreme horror. But just being gross by itself doesn't make for a good story. Gore and gross out horror should punctuate a good story. It shouldn't be all that the story has to offer.

I haven't found a Dennis E. Taylor book I haven't enjoyed! I wasn't sure what to expect from this because I didn't bother read the plot synopsis. (I like knowing as little as possible) but I'm glad I picked it up!

Fun Story With a Distractingly Obnoxious Protag

I just want to preface that this book is a lot of fun. Its a a cool concept and world. However, there are far too many moments where I felt embarrassed at what I was listening to. Sex and violence doesn't bother me in books. Hell, the occasional terribly written Stephen king sex scenes still have me a dear reader.
This books sex scenes feel different. It felt gross... It felt like a 14 year old boy wrote this without ever having sex yet spends at least a quarter of the book talking about sex nonetheless. I understand the protagonist is a nineteen year old male villain but he didnt have to vividly describe the breasts of every single female character he mentioned. It was not only distracting and irrelevant, it was redundant. The author could have just objectified 1 or 2 women to get the point across that the protagonist is a myssogynistic pig but after the 6th and 7th time I can't help but wonder if it's not the character, but the author with the problem.
