Where does Comes the Blind Fury rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Scale of 1-10, a 10.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Comes the Blind Fury?

When Michelle was becoming like Amanda, and Amanda left Michelle after she killed those kids that made fun of Michelle.

What does Tanya Eby Sirois bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings excitement, character idenity, emotions to each character, and brings sight to your mind which gives you the chance to see what she is actually saying what the character is doing and saying. Just Brilliant!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I am not that emotional. But I was curious on the different reactions the characters carried out in the story. I like the audio better than the paperback. Very nice book.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would! The story line keeps you from the beginning to the end of the book. It keeps you wondering what is going to happen next, and how are they going to proceed with the invesigation. And not only that, the twists that are in this audio book, keeps you in awh.

What other book might you compare The House of Silk to and why?

Haven't come across that yet.

Have you listened to any of Derek Jacobi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I am not sure. But he is good, very good.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

OMG! When my husband and I heard what the House of Silk was, and who was involved. That was powerful.

Any additional comments?

My husband and I were speechless! Just fabulous!

Would you consider the audio edition of When the Wind Blows to be better than the print version?

Yes, the only reason why I say this is because I read this book for the first time when I was in high school. It was a book I bought at Sears in Highland Park Michigan. When I saw that it was in audio form, I was excited, and it brought back memories to me. I really enjoyed listening to this audio version. I have no time to read paperbacks.

What was one of the most memorable moments of When the Wind Blows?

When it was revealed that there was something wrong with Diana; and Diana was the actual killer, but she didn't know it. Even at the end, she still didn't know she was the killer.

Have you listened to any of Joyce Bean’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Not sure, but I know one thing and is she was fabulous in making me see each character as an individual, now that is real talent.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No I don't have the time for that. What I did was to listen to it in the car when I was going on my erands. My husband listens to it as well. He loved it too.

Any additional comments?

I have one other comment, and that is I wish you could take a book that John Saul has called Creature and turn it into an audio book. Back in the day it was on cassette (1995). Can you look into it? That is a marvelous book as well.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The thing I would change is how the story starts. It took too long to understand what the actual plot was building up to be. I didn't get interested until the 5th disc of my CD (I downloaded it to listen to it in my car).

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I wouldn't have taken a long time to build up the characters, nor what they do for a living. There was too much time taken in discribing the people, the town, what they did, and not enough time in exploring the actual events that is causing the deaths of the females. I would have changed the story to make it very interesting from the beginning, and not in the middle of the story.

Have you listened to any of Christian Rodska’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't, but I would like to hear other good books he has narrated. He was good, but not the book.

Do you think Three Hands in the Fountain needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I think no, but if you do, then it needs to be of a better quailty in the story line, and by all means please catch the reader's attention at the beginning of the story. Once you catch the readers attention, keep it through the whole story.

Any additional comments?

The only thing that was marvelous about the book was the reader Christian Rodska. He is very talented in the voices he choses for the characters, and I really think it was he who made me stay to the end.

Would you listen to The Ghosts of Belfast again? Why?

Yes I would, because it kept you in a state of good listening. The listener will be able to understand what the writer was talking about.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Ghosts of Belfast?

When the politician was finally killed, and he fell out of power over Belfast.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the ghosts finally called for the death of the priest.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No I didn't, but put me in the state of a good suspense movie.

Any additional comments?

I hated the dog fighting. Didn't like that at all.

Would you listen to Hissers again? Why?

It is the perfect horror story to listen to. It has good story lines, and it keeps your imagination going. You can actually see the terror in your mind as it is being told.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hissers?

When the plane crashed and those things were going after the living.

What does Macleod Andrews bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Explicit definition of horror as it unfolds. He brings the excitement that enhances each scene.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The tag line would be when the teens were forced to make adult decisions on how to survive.

Any additional comments?

The only thing I hated about the beginning, was all the cussing. I could have done without that. The beginning was good without all the cussing he had the teens doing. But over all, the story was a good terrifying fiction.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I do recommend this book to other audio listeners. The reason why is because she gives a good description of each and every character, very good story plot, and as always, this book keeps you wanting more all the way to the end. Very good mystery and the reader does a fabulous job as well.

What other book might you compare On The Street Where You Live to and why?

All Around Town by Mary Higgins Clark as well.

What does Jan Maxwell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings reality to each character that is mentioned in the book. You can tell who is who, and even though she is a woman, her voice is exquisit to the reading.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If it was possible yes.
