Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Historia
On a night flight from London to Boston, Ted Severson meets the stunning and mysterious Lily Kintner. Sharing one too many martinis, the strangers begin to play a game of truth, revealing very intimate details about themselves. Ted talks about his marriage that's going stale and his wife, Miranda, who he's sure is cheating on him. Ted and his wife were a mismatch from the start - he the rich businessman, she the artistic free spirit - a contrast that once inflamed their passion but has now become a cliché.

Better Than I Thought!
Revisado: 09-04-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
The story was written well, the characters came off the page and the plot had some twists that surprised me.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Kind Worth Killing?
When the main character plotted their first murder as a teen and completely got away with it.
Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, NA
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, but it kept my attention.
Any additional comments?
Gets a little long in some spots, but overall a pretty good book. The main character is on the level of Amy in Gone Girl!

Historia
In Harvest, the book that introduced us to Tess Gerritsen's unique blend of medical expertise, harrowing suspense, and brilliantly crafted plot twists, the dark side of medical research is exposed. Harvest vividly portrays a young woman doctor challenging a world where medical miracles and greed fuel a lethal conspiracy - and the bright lights of the O.R. conceal the ultimate corruption of genius.

Pretty Interesting
Revisado: 02-25-13
Where does Harvest rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Middle of the road, not the best, but far from the worst.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character, she showed grit and determination, albeit there were times when she did get a bit out of control, crossed lines most wouldn't. Made you think either she was really bold or really stupid.
What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?
The voice range, did males and females pretty good.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No

A Bit Too Much In The Wrong Way
Revisado: 12-05-12
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No, it was just TOO unbelievable, sorry. Don't want to give away the story, but he's an FBI agent, she knows several of his friends AND family members, has written best-selling books about them and they NEVER met each other? There are more "too good to be true" issues with this novel, it was just a bit too much. If some of those things were not in the book, the story would have been pretty good, it was just overdone in my opinion.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Not surprised really, too many things pointed to it.
What does David de Vries bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Good narrative voice, it did make the purchase worth it.
Could you see Full Disclosure being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
It would need some editing. One choice would be Christopher Noth and Anne Hathaway.

Ho- Hum
Revisado: 10-03-12
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Yes and no. Most of the characters were male and the narrator was female attemtping to also pull off Russian accents for male characters, began to grate on the nerves.
What did you like best about this story?
It was an interesting twist to the story of what happened to the Romanov family. Quite surprising actually and believable.
What didn’t you like about Kate Reading’s performance?
Her attempt at narrating for male characters with Russian accents.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Possibly, it would have to move along faster.
Any additional comments?
The story took a while to develop, too long, last 1/4 of the book was the best part. Could have been better, the story line was rather good. Better choice of naarator needed for this particular story.

Very Good Book!
Revisado: 09-02-12
What did you love best about Defending Jacob?
I enjoyed the fact that the book was not predictable and that the characters were not just your run of the mill characters. The author and narrator brought life to them.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character, Andy Barber. He was a character that was complex, all of his secrets and the story of his past did not come out too quickly, so you "learned" about the character throughout the book.
Have you listened to any of Grover Gardner’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No.
If you could take any character from Defending Jacob out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Mr. Lajudas, the prosecutor. I would want to ask him what were the real motives for prosecuting the case? Did he really believe in the guilt of the suspect or was he trying to get a big win to boost his career?
Any additional comments?
This was my first audible book and I enjoyed both the book and the narrator. I have purchased more books, made a wish list and really gotten in to audible books because of my first experience with this book, author and narrator.
