Captivating

Great story, kept me wanting more while continuing a solid storyline. First book I’ve read of hers, I’ll have to look into more of her novels!

Great story, but ended too quickly
Revisado: 03-18-24
I loved this story. The characters, the storyline, all of it. I just felt like the ending could’ve had more written about it. It just ended abruptly for me when I think there could’ve been more to the ending. Overall, a great quick and easy read!

Couldn’t get into this at all
Revisado: 01-21-24
The story sounded so good and I was excited to read this one, but I couldn’t get into it at all. It was so slow and dragged out that I could even remember what was going on in the story. To be honest, I couldn’t even finish it. So maybe it gets better? But didn’t want to waste another 8 hours of listening 😵💫

Historia
Kitty Harris has it all: cosily coupled up with boyfriend Archie, she’s putting in the hours at an ad agency to land her dream job. OK, so maybe they’ve become a bit too comfortable in their routine, with pizza night every Thursday, and maybe the agency isn’t so much up-and-coming as been-and-gone, but Kitty is happy. Until one diamond ring sitting pretty in her pepperoni ruins everything. Kitty does NOT want to get married, not after being caught in the crosshairs of her parent’s destructive divorce.

Loved this!
Revisado: 11-30-23
Snagged this free and I wasn’t sure how good it would be, this was by far the best listen! It was so fun, full of love, heart ache, finding yourself, and and just plain heartwarming. I love this book so much!

Female narration was TERRIBLE
Revisado: 08-25-22
The story itself was okay. It kept me interested, it had twists, the classic love story and I’m all for it. But the female narration was so god awful. I could barely get through the book. Not because the story wasn’t good, but because she was that bad narrating. She was so slow and monotone, I was bored listening to her. Speeding it up helped, but it was still cringey.
