Incredible

I could write paragraphs on this book. Unfortunately I’m too wrapped up in thought, emotional response, drive, and admiration from reading this book to do so. Must read.

Historia
The summer is winding down in San Diego. Veronica is bored, caustically charismatic, and uninspired in her photography. Nico is insatiable, subversive, and obsessed with chaotic performance art. They’re artists first, best friends second. But that was before Mick. Delicate, lonely, magnetic Mick: the perfect subject and Veronica’s dream girl. The days are long and hot - full of adventure - and soon they are falling in love. Falling so hard, they never imagine what comes next. One fire. Two murders. Three drowning bodies. One suspect...one stalker.

From a Female Civil War Soldier Reenactor
Revisado: 01-11-21
This book is absolutely incredible. I was brought to tears at the end. Emma was such an amazing person and her life made a wonderful story. I am a female Civl War Reenactor who represent the 500-1000 women who cross dressed and fought in the American Civil War, Emma being one of those. This story was obviously impactful to me but if you have any interest at all in the ACW, you will want to read this book. Especially if you have an interest in the medical side of Civil War history or espionage during the Civil War. Travia Gilber was absolutely amazing and is an amazing voice actor! All of the characters were perfectly played and she was very easy to understand! Highly recommend, 10/10!
