Historia
Everyone seems to have one part of the bar exam that they dislike more than the others. For some, it is the MBE; for others, the performance test. But, based on surveys of my Bar Exam Mind blog readers, the majority of bar exam students have the most trouble writing bar exam essays/

Great tips
Revisado: 09-17-20
I appreciate the concise and succinct information. Preparing for the bar is time consuming. This quick listen provides great tips without compromising the bar taker’s prep time. I listened to the book in two sessions in one day. The first session while doing laundry the second during a long walk. Good addition to my bar prep

Historia
Kristen Petersen doesn't do drama, will fight to the death for her friends, and has no room in her life for guys who just don't get her. She's also keeping a big secret: facing a medically necessary procedure that will make it impossible for her to have children. Planning her best friend's wedding is bittersweet for Kristen - especially when she meets the best man, Josh Copeland. He's funny, sexy, never offended by her mile-wide streak of sarcasm, and always one chicken enchilada ahead of her hangry. Even her dog, Stuntman Mike, adores him. The only catch: Josh wants a big family.

Cute Story
Revisado: 09-17-20
This is a cute romantic story. Predictable but entertaining enough. I enjoyed yelling at the female character for being immature. The female narrator was pretty bad at talking in a male voice. Overall this was a decent story.

Historia
Kiese Laymon is a fearless writer. In his essays, personal stories combine with piercing intellect to reflect both on the state of American society and on his experiences with abuse, which conjure conflicted feelings of shame, joy, confusion, and humiliation. Laymon invites us to consider the consequences of growing up in a nation wholly obsessed with progress yet wholly disinterested in the messy work of reckoning with where we’ve been.

Meh.....
Revisado: 06-07-20
I did not know what to expect. But the reviews and critiques lured me to listen to this audiobook, It is ok but not as great as I expected based on the five star reviews and Book of the Year accolades. Maybe this just isn't my style of memoir or book. I like to be changed by a book that I listen to or read. This did not do it for me.

Historia
Cassie McDowell’s life in 1980s Minnesota seems perfectly wholesome. She lives on a farm, loves school, and has a crush on the nicest boy in class. Yes, there are her parents’ strange parties and their parade of deviant guests, but she’s grown accustomed to them. All that changes when someone comes hunting in Lilydale. One by one, local boys go missing. One by one, they return changed - violent, moody, and withdrawn. What happened to them becomes the stuff of shocking rumors. The accusations of who’s responsible grow just as wild, and dangerous town secrets start to surface.

It's Okay
Revisado: 02-01-20
I wanted to love this book based on the high ratings. This book is ok. It moved pretty slow then had some interesting parts but it was all downhill for the last 20 or so chapters. There was definitely suspense but the final chapters weren't worth the build up.
