During a chance encounter, two nearly identical boys, one a poor beggar and the other a prince, decide to exchange places. The pauper, now living in the royal palace, is constantly filled with the dread of being discovered for who and what he really is; while the Prince, dressed in rags, lives on the street enduring hardships he never thought possible. Both children soon discover that neither life is as carefree as they expected.

Longer than others I've read, my favorite so far

Seems to be longer than others level one books I've read, which is a good thing as long as it isn't repetitive or dull, which it isn't. Very enjoyable story. An audio recording of it is available through Audible.

Happy learning mandarin

Overall very good; but chapter numbering confusion

I liked this a lot, but wanted to point out that there is a chapter numbering discrepancy. What is displayed as Chapter 1 is just a short intro about the book and series. When that is completed then Chapter 2 is displayed and a narrator announces "Chapter 1", and this mismatch continues through to end of the book. Not a major issue once you understand, but if you are trying to match the audio to the Kindle e-book you might be confused.
