The way Palahniuk uses male angst to drive his gritty novels Yoder uses the same angst but with motherhood. To call her the next anything is not meant to undermine her ability. She is a truly talented writer who I hope to see more releases. Maybe best book I listened to or read all year.

I’m not going to complain as I said it’s free. The story is fine but the narrators swallowing is disgusting. Maybe he did it to show fear but it made me want to puke. Throw in produce sounds of the background and it ruins the story.

So slowly delivered. Annoying. I sipped it up to x2 and it was better. Story starts of great then slows to a bunch of characters sitting around talking. I hate the Holly character in this and his other Mr Mercedes books with a passion. She brings the book to a halt.
Great first half horrible second half and terrible narration. Speed it up double and you can listen without wanting to kill yourself.

Stephen King has become so political his books have become unlistenable. I don’t need King to tell me woman are better then men. Men are evil. We are dangerous woman beaters or that we are the only ones destroy the environment. King speak for yourself. I feel no guilt for being a man. I’m done wasting money on your left wing nonsense. Remember republicans buy books too at least when we aren’t drinking beer shooting guns and destroying the environment.

A very good look at the rough and tough life of settlers of the west. I wouldnt have thought this book would have been like this. I thought this book was about a savage cannibal but it was just another case of doing what it took to stay alive. Not sure how I felt about the Man Eater as to his level of wrong doing. Really enjoyed it.

This book can be summed up by saying, Christians are bad. Christians are evil. They are problems behind all the worlds problems. And the Bushes are evil. The Skull and Cross Bones section is idiotic at best. Every thing he dismissing through the whole book. He backs up his nonsense against the Bushes. I swear as I was listening I was thought he is going to blame the Nazis on the Bush family and I swear to the God the author of this book hates, HE BLAMED THE FORMATION OF THE NAZIS ON PRESTON BUSH.
But just because I dont like the material doesnt mean this is a well written book because it is.

I bought this book a couple of years ago. I listened to about 30 minutes and gave up on it. Then I decided to give it another shot. I was wrong this is a great book and the minotaur was a great character. I hoped for a darker ending.

Game of thrones in Space with a 1st person pov

Finally a book to fill the void until Martin gets off his butt and brings out his next fire and ice book. I've been looking for a series comparable to World of fire and ice and never thought id find one in sci fi book but I did. I loved the wars and scheming the students waged on each other in the school on mars. Its a little strange at first but worth the listen.
