This title was recommended by a friend to read, and though I did not care for the performance of the story, i found the story itself intriguing. I am of a mind to buy the book to read on my own. I think if read on your own, this book could potentially get much higher reviews. Lots of different characters and plots, twists and adventure. All the makings of a great novel.

I really enjoyed the development of the characters and relationships, I wish the rings were described more in depth, I just want to learn more but hopefully there will be more in the following book. Also the recording has a few places that are dually dubbed so you can’t really understand what is being said but luckily it’s only a very small portion. The reader did a great job otherwise. 👍

I began this series only a few day ago and I can’t stop listening!
I became a fan years ago when a friend suggested The Way of Kings. It makes perfect sense that I would be addicted to this one as well!
Looks like there will definitely be more Sanderson in my future 3>

Love this book!

I fell in love with the characters. It wasn’t easy to guess what would happen next, and my husband and I had fun discussing where we thought the plot would go, and what things happened the way they did. The reading was excellent by Michael Kramer, though I though Kate Reading’s narrations sounded very automated/robotic. I can’t wait to start the next book!

Would you consider the audio edition of Clockwork Angel to be better than the print version?
I love to read, but listening to books on audible makes it possible for my to go about my daily business, and still enjoy being sucked up into another world!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Too hard to choose! I think the reader gave excellent renderings other than that of Gideon Lightfoot.
