Okay, that isn't entirely true. The book on its own is one of my favorites, and this series has given me the best return on my attention in meaningful information. Upton Sinclair takes us all across America, Europe, and the world in this one!

My only complaint in Reading the series is that characters Never say things that are... out of character. The variety/world of developed characters are where the story becomes alive, which more than makes up for this to me.

However, Bronson Pinchot performs the narration so that the characters are real; not ideals, not memes, and indeed real. Bronson demonstrates this to be my own failing as an imaginative reader... I was almost in tears towards the end of the book. I look forward to whenever the next audiobook in the series becomes available more than anything on Audible.

Upton Sinclair goes across the world introducing an American audience to different cultures, different people, and all the same politics. it's an amazing story, and my favorite so far. Bronson pinch show tells it in a way where you can discern when the author is going from nonfiction to fictional storytelling, which shows Keen judgment of the author. wonderfully done, I can't wait for the rest of it!

At first, this series looks like an undertaking. Bronson Pinchot developed the same spirit Sinclair must have had when writing these books. He has a story to tell, and it's going to be real as can be, with as much detail as you can handle.
When I am impatient, and Sinclair's description of a scene or the state of mind of a character, I think about the old adage 'never hang a gun up on the wall if you don't intend to use it'. However in the style of an arms dealer, you might find what you don't buy used against you someday.

I always felt there hadn't been much joy in Sinclair's writing, and it took his second book in this series and a wonderful narration to see his humor. It's much subtler than any humor we have today, like tapping on the fourth wall and telling you how the desert tastes on the other side. Whether the cake's a lie is left up to your judgement, but to ditch the metaphor I'll never think of the 1920s the same way again.

Absolutely scathing and clear indictments of Jordan Peterson, no stone is left unturned. His criticism is so much better, as Jordan Peterson responded to it with nothing but ad hominem.

Essential work for anyone whose asked "just how interesting is the time we live in?", "whose in control?", "what do I know?" or a million other that follow distrust of your source of news. Brace yourself to focus, you will find answers here.

The author doesn't put any emphasis on quotations different from Sinclair's own words, this caused me a lot of confusion in the section regarding a spurned and snubbed run for political office. Don't let a little common sense test dissuade you, your news feed will still be there when you return from this audiobook, God willing at a different perspective.

It can be very hard to follow the numerology, but it is a great story introducing more wisdom than can be grasped at once. I'll be listening again.

The plot is constructed as a series of dialogue which is cold and plain on the surface, but unfolds as battles of ingenuity between interstellar governments. I love how Asimov pits emotion against power struggles in a manner that makes humanity prevail in this universe.

Scott Adams animates a logical set of problem solving habits and skills from his own life, stuffs it into his oven of persuasion and plates up an easily digestible meal of useful satiety. The narrator is very energetic, which counters Scott's actual voice. I would complain about the cognitive dissonance, but the narrator is great for giving the story a light-hearted demeanor.
