Historia
It's been three long years since Deadbreak. That's what everyone's calling it - the day the dead rose. Every day since then, Jeremiah Reid has had one goal: to make his way back to his daughter. With his four-legged companion, Joe, Jeremiah has to travel a lawless wasteland teeming with zombies, bandits, and worse, like people who put anchovies on pizza (you know who you are). It's a new world out there, and no one is safe. People are weary, cities are in ruin, supplies are scarce, and brains are on the menu.

Good story line
Revisado: 05-19-24
I enjoyed the story and the comedic lines. Unfortunately, the reader kept dropping his voice to a husky whisper. Since I am hearing impaired, some conversations were impossible for me to hear. I am seeing more of this in audio books and this trend is making it so I have to avoid some narrators. Hopefully, audible will address this soon .

Good story.
Revisado: 04-17-24
I hate to cut down a good story but the reader gave terrible, stilted or whiny, breathless female voice interpretations that were teeth grating to listen to. Unless there is a different reader, I will be reading the rest of the series.

New voice too soft.
Revisado: 08-13-21
I have loved this from the beginning and while I enjoy the addition of Spinner's story, the reader speaks much too softly to be easily heard. It takes away from the immersion and the pleasure in a story when there is such a disparity between reader volumes.

Good story, irritating pacing on narration.
Revisado: 09-02-20
Story kept me going when choppy narration made me want to quit listening. Reader's voice is easy to listen to and understand but makes Achilles sound much too old. Needed a young forceful effect, not a slow, methodical voice. Very much effected my enjoyment of the story.

Great example of this genre. Kept my interest from beginning to end. Could overlook the implausibility of some of the coincidences because the characters were well developed and the story line was unusual.
