Loved this story. Of course I wish it had wrapped up at the end Selena and Varick’s story. Also- not hot peppers here. There is no spice at all (for those used to other books by this author).

Good- but story lacked depth

This has the makings of good story but at times was all over the place. Especially towards the end- it seemed the author was more interested in laying the groundwork for a lot of characters than tying this story together.

Great writing- but drags on and on and on….

The writing in these stories is excellent. The performance in the audio books - excellent. But honestly-this was just too many books. The story drags on and on and on…. Who wants 5 books to wrap up a story? While I applaud character development. This was too much. Almost didn’t finish.

Giana Darling is a fantastic writer. Her stories are filled with poetic lines, beautifully flawed characters, and enough steam to keep things interesting. For someone like me- who snacks on romance novels for release from a high pressure job- I can say she is one of the best.

Love but needs more story development

JSJ has the makings of a great romance author. I love the heat and characters. But the story development needs work. There was no follow through with the rival gang and what/why that was happening. It just seemed a story that read that was never pulled though. I’d like to see JSJ keep the heat but add more story/plot.
