Horrible narration!

I honestly don't know if I can finish listening to this book. I adore this series and have listened to the so many times. I didn't really believe it was possible for any narrator to ruin it. How wrong I was. All of subtle nuances of tone that both previous narrators brought to the story and characters are just gone. The narration was just DRY and boring and there is nothing boring about any of Karen Chance's books. I will have to stick with reading this one and the next and hope that a new narrator is chosen for future books.

Amazing Series!

This series is one of the best I've read in a long time. It has so many great qualities that suck you in and leave you wanting more. There is action and adventure (and lots of it), mystery, romance and terrific world building! Felicity Munroe did an amazing job of bringing the story to life. I can't wait for books 7 and 8 to come out on Audible!

Soooo long and not in a good way...

I finished the book, barely. A super long book where NOTHING really happens. I found myself fast forwarding in the hopes of something more. Lots of whining, inner dialog, arguing and 1 caveman but no action or anything to move the plot along. all in all, uninspiring.

Could have been better...

I struggled to finish this. The male narrator was great however the female narrator left a lot to be desired. Her narration was slow and lacked any real feeling making for a long, slightly painful listen.
