Abyssian may be the whiniest romantic hero I’ve had read of in a Kresley Cole book. Mind you, I love her IA series and will keep buying them. But please, no more whiners.

Why are there so many romance books in need of a good rewrite.
It’s messy and repeats phrases and words constantly, not to mention the sad lack of flesh on the characters.
Yeah, not the best choice for good fun storytelling.

A book to keep

I remember reading Ghost Bride by Yangze Choo and thinking how much I love a story that goes back to old traditions and adventure in a plane that's unexpected and so charming at the same time.
The same goes for The Night Tiger, where there are elements of this world and what tradition expects the next one to be like. A love story with a spooky touch and the scene of Malaysia steers a powerful mixture.
Must say that hearing the author deliver the story is the most enjoyable surprise. Not all writers can do that and I appreciate it very much.
Yangze Choo is becoming one of my new favorite authors.

Pura magia de una buena historia

Este es el segundo audio libro que se me pasó en un sueño. Con personajes mágicos o simplemente sumamente humanos en sus cualidades o debilidades.
Si bien la voz de la lectura no es mi favorita, le da color y ritmo que deja seguirla capítulo tras capítulo.

Una historia de las buenas

Nada como un buen libro leído con pasión y sentido por la medida de dramatismo necesario para crear una escena para aquellos que eligieron oír la historia.
Esto dicho, esta novela tiene maravillas de giros en cuentos de antaño con figuras y demonios legendarios.
Recomiendo oírla y dejarse llevar por las aventuras de los personajes que llenan sus páginas.

Unforgettable

Many feelings awaken and burst out while listening to this incredible story of losses and encounters.
The world of Orisha is magical and the people in it become one with the reader and her voice. Bahni Turpin has become a favourite voice in my home. With the interpretation of Buhni and the words written by Tomi Adeyemi makes Children of Bone and Blood a book to keep home and in your heart.

A necessary book to learn more about feminism

Bahni Turpin is my new favourite reader voice. She gives so much life and character to each chapter.
Bad Feminist is an eye opener in the way it gets you to think about politics, racism, the patriarchy or just how to be free woman in this age. And you know that being free and a woman isn’t the easiest thing.
There’s still a lot to learn and read, looking forward to all of it.

I can’t and won’t finish this audio. The narrating voice is utterly irritating. I was looking forward to knowing how the story would develop. Now I’ll go for spoilers.
