don't let they narrator stop you

The storyline is fantastic, as is to be expected from Sanderson. I thought I had it figured it, only to be surprised by several major upheavals. Gripping to the very end.
The narrator's voice is incredibly irritating to me. It made me wish I could just read the book, over and over again. I thought maybe I'd get used to his voice and it would get better. Overwhelmingly annoying to the very end.

I would not recommend any of the books in this series for numerous reasons (wish I had known before buying so many!) But this one is particularly bad. It's basically an entire book about how amazing and life changing this system is, but doesn't teach the system at all (not that the system will work for everyone anyway, so don't believe the hype). If you want to learn the system get one of the other books, don't waste your money on a huge advertisement.
