Well woven storytelling… had me after 1st book

Wow…. Great writer and interesting narration. Each was exceptional and helped tell which part of the story was focused on. Normally I don’t like multiple narrators but this supported the storyline well. Loved the character development and wished there were more books to follow.

It is rare that you can count on a writer to deliver with each and every novel. If you’re a fan of historical combat fiction, you CANNOT go wrong with his books… any and all hit their mark.with a library on audible of hundreds of books, this writer is one of the best.

Well written historical fiction. Moved quickly and laid groundwork for books 2 & 3. The author is money in the bank good. After the archer series, I was hooked and this didn’t disappoint

Great book… immersive and entertaining world building

Sone authors have an amazing ability to spin a story that pulls you in. The primal hunter series, the Nova Roma trilogy and a small handful of others are surefire hits. This book joins the list. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Interesting listen. Not too complicated but good potential for plot development.

While not overly complicated, the book covers a basic plot line solidly. There is a heavy focus on combat narrative although I’d like to see more world development. The narrator does a superb job and I appreciated not having to listen to every level advancement called out repeatedly. It’s not a deep read but a the world is intriguing and the revenge narrative story has potential. It’s a solid litrp listen and I’ll bite on book 2 to see where it goes.
