Historia
Since September 11, 2001, the Western world has been preoccupied with Islam and its role in terrorism. Yet, public debate about the faith is polarized. One camp praises "the religion of peace", while the other claims all Muslims are terrorists. Canadian human rights activist Yasmine Mohammed believes both sides are dangerously wrong. In Unveiled: How Western Liberals Empower Radical Islam, Yasmine speaks her truth as a woman born in the Western world yet raised in a fundamentalist Islamic home. Despite being a first-generation Canadian, she never felt at home in the West.

Historia
Best-selling author Bryan Burrough recently made a shocking discovery: The small town of Temple, Texas, where he had grown up, had harbored a dark secret. One of his high school classmates, Danny Corwin, was a vicious serial killer. In this chilling tale, Burrough raises important questions of whether serial killers can be recognized before they kill or rehabilitated after they do. It is also a story of Texas politics and power that led the good citizens of the town of Temple to enable a demon who was their worst nightmare.

Great Story, somewhat boring listen
Revisado: 03-19-19
For the Crime-Doco lovers, it's a good one. The story is interesting, progression is great, everything works right. The narrator, however, couldn't hook me in. It was a bit of a struggle to keep my attention.
But that's just me.

Wonderful and heartbreaking
Revisado: 08-29-17
Disclaimer: Im a huge fan of Amy and like many others, embrced her into my heart from the second i heard her voice.
This book was eye opening in every sense. Not only about Amy, but also on being a parent to an alcoholic and a drug abusive daughter. I would recommend the book to anyone who can read of listen to it. I think it's important to realize what a difficult and unforgiving life can be when abusing a drug of any sort.
On top of that, Amy's story shold be heard on any corner of the world. She was an inspiration with a voice of a goddess and uncompromising honesty and she must never be forgotten. Love.
